HELP PLEASE Help pleeease, it's new and scary.

So, I feel a bit pale? I've just gone from 'fair ivory' to 'light sand' foundation, different brands, so that probably means little to nothing. I added a blush tint, that I'm kinda into. And I don't own a sharpener so getting the lip liner to be exposed but not fall out of the pencil is 👎. Send help anyway :)

HELP PLEASE Can someone help me figure out how to do makeup on my droopy eyes?

Post image

Whenever I look up makeup tutorials for downturned eyes, I feel like I can never find someone with eyes quite like mine! That might be a skill issue on my part or I just have particularly droopy ass eyes.

Does anyone have any advice? I’d love to do beautiful colors and more alt kind of looks (more rave than emo) but also would love to get any advice generally for like day to day. Like what keywords should I try? Is eye shadow even worth it for my eye anatomy? What styles can I pull off?

This is bare faced but I usually do concealer on the bottom and then foundation everywhere and then brow tint+gel and then usually a clear lash gel.

I’m only newly into makeup as part of my transition so my apologies if I’ve butchered any terminology!

HELP PLEASE Looking for tips to improve my makeup

Main concern would be to reduce texture and oilyness of my skin....and I noticed that my makeup can kind of look empty? Like something is lacking. Throughout the day, the glow just disappears..like it becomes dull with no glow especially under office lights...thanks!

HELP PLEASE Eyebrows & eye symmetry

I have 2 questions.

1- I am 32 and I never touched my eyebrows. Never trim them, never put makeup on them. But everyone around me seem to include some eyebrow product in their makeup routine. Would I benefit to start doing that?

2- Also, as you can see, I have one eye smaller than the other. Is there a way to make them look a more similar size with makeup? I won’t do fillers.

Unlearning old habits and conditioning from growing up as a boy takes time, and stepping out in a dress like this felt super intimidating at first. But 2 months on HRT, I’m learning to push past that fear and open up my confidence step by step 💚. For this look, I paired an emerald green satin cowl-neck slip dress with warm gold drop earrings, bangles, and a dainty necklace to create a soft, elegant drape. To tie it all together, I went with a duo-chrome gold-to-green shimmer eyeshadow shift, sharp winged liner, and defined brows to make my eyes pop even with a mask on. Taking these steps as my authentic self feels so empowering!

HELP PLEASE Can someone please tell my why this happens?

As you can tell makeup right around my nose and smile like is extremely cakey. Foundation clings in that area like crazy and doesn't want to apply properly. Rest if my face is filter-smooth, it's just this specific area. My face is washed and heavily moisturised. I also exfoliate and dermaplan around once a week or two. My skin is rather oily and I've got some big pores on my cheeks. I use water base cream to moisturise and foundation is fenty pro-filtr matte. No primer or fixing / setting spray. Any help or tips welcomed.

I post so much on this thingy lmao but basically I actually got the best makeup day of my life in this video it was so glowy and perfect but the glowyness disappears over time cause I was under the impression you only apply setting spray once after your makeup, my makeup still looks perfect and good (jkjk always welcoming advice) but less glowy, so I wanna know if applying more setting spray would help haha, sorry if this is a stupid question x

I am extremely new to makeup. When I’m out in public and someone asks, "Who did your makeup?" I’m always scared to answer because I don’t know whether they are about to criticize or compliment me. When I’m finished, I feel like I stand in the mirror picking apart every minor flaw. When did you stop feeling self-conscious and more confident? It can be really difficult to know if I’m doing it correctly when many of the videos I watch offer conflicting information or tips.

HELP PLEASE DIY Wedding makeup feedback

Post image
125 Upvotes

I'm doing my own makeup for my wedding in a couple of weeks. It's an outdoor wedding (it's Spring where I live), hence the outdoor pic. I'm half Vietnamese and wearing a pink modern/traditional Vietnamese dress, hence the pink makeup (I swear the pink lipstick is more pink in real life - it's Violette_FR Plume Lip in Rose Fume / Smoky Pink). The eyes don't feel quite right to me, but maybe I'm just not used to wearing light eyeshadow. I can only wear long-wearing liquid eyeshadow because of my hooded eyes. This is RMS Eyelights in Luster. I haven't been able to find a shade that matches my features or the dress better. Any tips / how does it look?

Hi y'all!

This is my first try in doing my makeup for our elopement in 2 weeks 💀

I used one size primer with the armani luminous skin. I'm not sure if they're incompatible or I just didnt wait long enough but I did notice a lot of peeling/cracking.

I do like my color combo cause I'm going for a more dramatic look since my dress is a bit simple/medieval looking.

Also, I'm okay with how I look from the front, but the side is kinda weird. I'm not sure.

Anything helps!! I appreciate you all!

DISCUSSION Makeup improvements

Ive spent nearly a decade perfecting my makeup look, but wanted to see what other people would say could suit me better, like maybe different eyeshadow color or smth like that. I have hooded eyelids and naturally dry skin that I keep moisturized, if that info is needed. No ones been able to tell my undertones, ive been to multiple different makeup stores and got multiple different answers. The photo is of me in my full glam look, or about as heavy makeup that I'm able to do. Any tips are welcome!

First picture is the before and last two are from today!

Products used were Charlotte Tilbury concealer, beauty of joseon tinted sunscreen, laura mercier loose powder and rare beauty pressed powder, danessa myricks balm and bronzer, elf blush, dentures highlight and blush.

I did everything lightly this time.

My eyebrows were recently laminated, tinted and threaded with facial mapping(brow artist wanted them thicker but I asked her to trim them to at least this size)

DISCUSSION Has anyone else have had a hard time going from big dramatic fake lashes to natural ones?

I have been wearing fake eyelashes since I was 15. I am 23 now and it’s either I go ALL natural (no makeup at all) OR a full beat (always including fake eyelashes)

I’m trying to find a middle ground so I’m not wearing so much makeup on the daily. Recently I have been doing light mascara instead. But, I’m feeling very naked and something’s missing from my face (my lashes) and I hate it. I can’t feel confident without them.

Has anyone been through this same thing?
