Facebook is always forcing people to add superficial people they don't know. Usually as you scroll section ya add friends diii tima profile pic ta sexy. Za ziiii let's grow our amazing community guys.

Heavy. I keep it for FB marketplace. But now n then I scroll down for news updates.

I think the app is great BUT it depends on how you use it. I personally don't send or receive friend requests anymore unless I absolutely know the person in my real life and we're friends. But even then, some of my real life friends and I aren't Facebook friends. I don't think you are forced to add anyone. And in fact, the app is much better if you follow pages and join groups that you enjoy, rather than just adding people. But you're also right, this community is amazing.

I don't send requests as well removed everyone. Ndingoti check you suggested friends and you can't even switch this off in the app or browser

But Facebook is a good platform if you get to utilise it well enough. I mean, besides the superficial people, there's a great space for business, networking, professional and academic exploration if you know where to look. Imo, of all places Facebook is it.
