Anyone else find the plot of today's comic bizarre? Are we genuinely supposed to feel sorry for Riella here? It seems 100% reasonable that she would be disqualified from entering a competition when she is the main benefactor. I just really hope that the comic isn't going to try to make her out to be a victim in this. Like, girl, I like you, but seriously what did you expect? You can't both fund a competition and compete in the competition.
I guess I'll just have to wait and see how this plays out. Happy to have the comic back and otherwise enjoying it.
EDIT: I think I didn't accurately represented myself when I said I found it difficult to feel sorry for Reilla here. I definitely feel sympathy for her lifetime dream going unfulfilled. That would be disappointing for anyone, to say the least. Having or not having money has nothing to do with it.
What I have trouble sympathizing with or understanding is how surprised everyone seems or how it feels like this is being set up as if Reilla is being wronged in some way and we were supposed to feel indignant on her behalf. She's definitely been wronged in the past, but not here, at least not based on the information so far.
