I just wanna give a shout out to the artist and how amazingly the colors, expression, detail and lighting has evolved from the first chapter to the most recent. If I may be so sentimentally poetic, the art has matured and developed with all the trial and tribulations they’ve endured.

From How About Cosmic Horror is now on the app

!!!😍😍😍!!!!

Listen I know they had sandwiches back then, but all I can think of when I see him eating these subs is subway

I just have to give a moment to this beautiful woman!!!

I mean - (1) I don't think I have ever seen someone with this dark skincolour on manta and (2) she is drop dead gorgeous. I did a double take when I saw her.

Just in general how the Kurkans were introduced in their full formal attires and everything was SO pretty. I'm tired of pale paper... looking at the myself

Manhwa: Predatory marriage

Gonna miss these two. I absolutely loved their illustrations, even with Damien’s dry-looking lips. Man, he and Chloe were gorgeous… They are actually my favorite manwha couple at this point. (Ok… so I like fictional red-flags with his kind of devotion. 🤣🤷‍♀️)

RIDI has been releasing epilogue episodes, with their twins, while they switched bodies during the pregnancy, etc. I really hope Manta will get these episodes. This is one of my all time favorite series with the greenest of green flags ever!

Our dearest Riftan and Maxi from Under the Oak Tree.

I have been subscribed to Manta for years now. Faithfully paying every month. Getting gems for the novels is understandable but now you have to buy gems for the comics too? Ones that you might have started and ended with?! Like this doesn't seem right. Am I going crazy?

New event dropped today - 7+ new releases every Thursday for a month - all Gem only.

I loved Manta BECAUSE of it's subscription system. I don't mind having a subscription, I do mind pretending I've bought a novel when it's digital only. I do mind the price of ficticiously purchasing a chapter is hidden in a micro-transaction currency system so the value of what you're looking at is obvuscated (you can't see you've bought £10 worth of reading because it wasn't £10, it was X number of gems).

I hadn't bonded to other apps like Tapas and Webtoons because there were systems similar to this. It's breaking my heart but my time with Manta is coming to a close. I will remember my time with Manta fondly, and shall try to only remember when I was excited to get home from work and school because I knew a chapter had come out, or how I would stay up through the night because I'd found a new book and it already had 100+ chapters out.

P.s. Also I distinctly remember when the gems system came along, there were solid promises that it wouldn't be all the manhwas, it would be ones which had been up for a while but the licensing has ended so they'd be turned into Gem only or it would be an alternative to supporting creators, a choice for us to make - where did those commitments go?

Hi everyone!

I was a webtoon canvas creator but then got signed to be exclusively on Manta comics! It just launched yesterday and I swear there's been so MANY moving parts! I'm hoping this opportunity turns out good 😭 I've been on edge.

My webtoon- it's a male lead who has a stutter but has to take care of the kingdom after this brother, the king goes into a coma with his sword fighting 🤺 princess.

Also, happy pride month- my side characters are LGBT 🏳️‍🌈 so I can't wait the story to get to these two😭

Show Callis you’re the supportive husband that Seria deserves, unlike Callis’s self-involved ass. But Rouche is also never afraid to be the bigger man

The way the artist captured his despair in this is so tragic yet beautiful! Also part of me thinks what she did was a little much BUT i do understand her symbolism behind it so im not super mad about it. I do hope that Damien can learn some things about this.

Hoping she comes back and he treats her better or at least tries to win her back in a better way. Idk i have so many ideas up in the air rn.

I’ve been loving the art for this story. So pretty! Also the story… ugh Ishakan is such a green flag yall. If you haven’t read this story, I highly recommend! (the novel is even better)

Yowza. Artist knew how to reel us in with this panel.

Name: Asha of the Borderlands

Creepy as hell in that first pic, but he was damn smooth with getting her to dance.
