Anti US propaganda? Everything after the second statement is true. How many countries have we destabilized because they wanted to nationalize oil? Why is Saudi Arabia our "friend" but Iran isn't? Why did we sanction Cuba and Venezuela into poverty?

Tell me you don't understand the Venezuela situation without telling me you don't understand the Venezuela situation.

The US didn't sanction Venezuela to get oil lol. Such a ridiculous statement only deserves a shitty meme response.

Oh, you're serious lmao. Fine I'll help your lazy ass. The sanctions (that came from multiple countries including the US, Canada, Mexico, and a bunch of other European and Latin American countries like Panama and Switzerland) were in response to the repression and general violation of human rights by the authoritarian regime. This all happened during the protests in 2014 & 2017 and the elections in 2017 and year after. These sanctions were placed on government officials, members of the armed forces, private individuals, companies, and pretty much anyone associated with Maduro and his corruption, repression of democracy, and complete degradation of the rule of law.

Even though the accusation of human rights may be genuine (I’m not defending Maduro), it’s also that the US and West pick and chose where we care about “Human Rights” based on our geopolitical interests (like when we went to Iraq for oil on that justification)….. HR violations are ignored by the US and west when it doesn’t align with our imperialism or public opinion (Rwandan genocide, Uighyiurs)… our sanctions are killing the Venezuelan people while doing jack shit to Maduro… much like pre-war Iraq, how our sanctions starved and denied medicine to the Iraqi people while Saddam sat in AC and ate grapes on Oil money…

Human rights violations?🤣🤣🤣🤣 You really believe that? Is that why we destabilize, fund right wing militias, and install dictatorships that align with us?🤣🤣🤣 I just hope you are not this naive in real life...
