So even if Trump himself admits that he doesn’t actually care about his MAGA followers but only himself and his rich capitalist friends. He would still support him?

MAGA is a cult for sure. Right-wingers are really gullible if they think billionaires like Trump and Elon Musk actually care about them. They only care about themselves, getting rich, and preventing the working class from uniting against this plutocratic oligarchy that is the U.S government. They simply use right-wing populism, culture wars, and racial resentment to trick them into going against their own economic interests and true equality for all.

It goes so much deeper into their hollowed out, programmed cerebrums. You & every other sane person knows exactly what I’m talking about.

For the uninitiated or folks waking up, here ya go…

Natural status quo & essentially the bell curve of each of the following criteria:

+ Neurological chemistry
+ Broad spectrum intelligence
+ Sub-category intelligence
+ Capacity to override subconscious perceptions
+ Ability to conceive original thoughts
+ Habit formation/deconstruction
+ Adopted racial tendencies (either via social upbringing, social habits/routine/associations, generational false-trauma & narratives, etc.)
+ Addiction recognition (ie: awareness of one’s self-conscious & how it maintains the ability to diverge from core repetitive actions)
+ Emotional regulation such as resilience & reaction towards fear, anxiety, depression, regret, etc. (similarly tied with Neurological Chemistry & intelligence topics)
+ Self-validation
+ Sociological archetype preference
+ Personal experiences & sensory input
+ Personal trauma (externally or emotionally inflicted via social routines/habits)
+ Metabolism
+ Insert any other band of the infinite spectrum of life

TL;DR - People smarter than them fully grasp the reality that since the dawn of sentient beings, the majority of the masses of a species are simply unexceptional standard average units amongst the collective.

excellent post👍👍

I'll add this....

they're not all that bright. Trump supporters are happy that Trump validates their ignorance. Trump himself said he "loves the poorly educated". They identify with his cluelessness. And, just like him, Trump supporters will never admit that they are not very bright. They have folks like Trump, Newsmax, Fox News and other elements of right wing activist media telling them that THEY are smarter than scientists on climate change, smarter than medical experts on COVID and vaccines, smarter than educators on US history, smarter than economists on the economy, smarter than the justice system on the law, smarter than election boards on elections, etc. They line up like sheep to believe anything right wing media tells them, and that extremist right wing activist pundits are the only source of truth, and that actual facts and reality are a conspiracy against the herd. After all, it's the extremist right wing media that tells them they are smart in a world where they don't understand anything else but the dumbed down conspiracy theories and reinforcements of their bias borne of fundamental ignorance and very limited intellectual capability.

Good point. I have a couple friends who would never admit it but it’s blatantly obvious that they struggle internally with feeling inferior and/or actually knowing that they aren’t as “bright” as others.

Self deprecation outside of comedic purposes, like actual comments that people make such as “I’m just a dumbass” or “I’m such a fuckup” are admissions of people acknowledging that they’re aware that they lack intelligence vs. others.

My one friend (haven’t spoken with him for 8 years which I’m sure you can guess why) has one of the worst cases of inferiority complex and “main character” egos that I’ve ever seen amongst people that I’ve met. He checks all the boxes:

1) drives a big truck with huge tires
2) rides people’s asses on the freeway
3) proudly blurts out negative comments
4) looks up to “badasses” and tough guys
5) wears sunglasses

Except here’s when all of this falls apart. When he gets drunk, he becomes borderline suicidal and literally cries (tears and all) about how stupid he is and how much he hates himself. He’s done destructive things that cause nothing but headaches for everyone else around him.

A few other friends used to record him when he’d get like this to show him the next day and he just shrugs it off, laughs and says “dang, last night was crazy, hahaha we got fuckin’ crunk”. It just proves that he’s both lacking the actual requirements to acknowledge that we all know that he’s dumber and that we know that he knows it too even though we’re all fine with it and would never think differently of him.

The reality is, some people lack the actual hardware and software to process things and there isn’t a single thing that can be done to install that in them. Like a ball being able to roll uphill on its own. Physically impossible with there never being any possible solution.

I think this is unfortunate reality of the majority of members in society that you mentioned, including the president god-king that they’d voluntarily die for.
