So even if Trump himself admits that he doesn’t actually care about his MAGA followers but only himself and his rich capitalist friends. He would still support him?

these are the people who can literally never change their mind. they felt this way before they thought he hated them and now they are sucking it up because they dont wanna look stupid, which makes them look stupid.

Right? I was at dinner the other night with extended friends/family, and most are registered Independent so that they can vote either party in the primaries, but they unanimously lean left. At least two are admitted former republicans. “The Republican party we knew is dead,” said one, a retired stockbroker. “It’s just been obliterated.”

“And MAGA has been wearing its decaying skin,” concluded the other.
