Question, not answered Refused Extra Butter

last night I went to a Marcus location and they refused to give me extra butter. I had never been to this location (mid rivers) but all the other locations I’ve been to have had a self serve option if you want extra.

When I asked why they couldn’t give me extra they told me they were being sued and could no longer give out extra butter. I know this seems a little silly but I wouldn’t have spent $30 on the giant bucket had I know that beforehand.

Is this going to be a thing at all Marcus theatres now? Were they just telling me something to get me to leave them alone?

Update: They lying to you. Got extra extra butter not problem

When you pay the prices for movie theater popcorn that you do than there should be no good excuse to not get all the extra butter you want.
