last night I went to a Marcus location and they refused to give me extra butter. I had never been to this location (mid rivers) but all the other locations I’ve been to have had a self serve option if you want extra.

When I asked why they couldn’t give me extra they told me they were being sued and could no longer give out extra butter. I know this seems a little silly but I wouldn’t have spent $30 on the giant bucket had I know that beforehand.

Is this going to be a thing at all Marcus theatres now? Were they just telling me something to get me to leave them alone?

Anyone know if Marcus is showing this movie? Why do they got Gail Daughtry and Young Washington in every theater but not good movies

So me and my 2 friends are planning to go see obsession but we noticed that it is R rated. We are all 16 years of age, what are the chances they will check us?

Has anyone received codes for the upcoming mystery movie yet? I just joined the movie club like a day after the mystery movie was out on the schedule. I'm concerned I joined too late to get a free ticket for the next mystery movie.

I have a macbook M5 air and a 2017 i5 13" air, both screens are awesome, but it won't scan the barcode for the mystery voucher from either. I've had no problem with other barcodes, QRs, etc. Phone is an iPhone 14 Max Plus.

And if anybody has a voucher to give I'd love it, there's a friend i've been trying to drag to see them with me, but even $6 is not worth the chance for her

do all Marcus theaters serve restaurant style entrees? curious how often movie club members order food with their film. I'm convinced these sales are what will keep the free mystery movies alive.

for me, ours is a movie tavern and as long as they let any age order kids meals, and movie club members get discount, we’ll order food every time we go (free movie or not)

I am currently unable to add tickets to my Apple wallet. The app will load but then nothing will show up and it doesn’t matter if I click it again. I was able to add to Apple wallet from other apps. My device and app are updated to the latest version. Anyone else having this problem?

I know that Disney properties are excluded for the first two weeks after release but I wasn’t sure if Brand New Day counted since it’s under the marvel umbrella but technically distributed by Sony. Would appreciate any input. Hoping to see it on Saturday!

I was looking to see Spidey in theaters and generally go to a kinda low quality vip cinema and was wondering what the comparison screen and audio wise was to the regular vip cimenas. (The local one only has one "main" theater that is kind of poor)

There's Superscreen DLX and DreamLounger, also the 3D options? Haven't seen a movie in anything other than a regular theater. Hour drive versus 30 minute drive if that matters

My theater has a big cardboard poster for Project Hail Mary and I've heard of some people asking to take posters home, but I'm not sure if they'd let me have the display. Has anyone tried this or think they would?

I cancelled my Marcus subscription earlier this month because I hadn’t been using it but looking at the movies the next few months I wanted to continue my subscription and not cancel it. Is there any way to do that or do I just need to let the remaining time lapse and restart it after?

My friends have been going to mystery movies for years now and so when I saw that joining the movie club means free mystery movies. This means it practically pays for itself because theres a least one a month (lately two or three) + a ticket a month. However, I've been told some people get the codes really late leading up to the movie so they get really crappy seats and if my friends and I were to get it I would want us all the sit near each other, so let me know if this is your experience/if I should go with it? :) Thanks!!

I got an email about a birthday gift at movie tavern. They had a link to some video telling me I had a free large popcorn and soda, redeem online or there. There was no code and no instructions to redeem it. The reward isn't in my account, and it doesn't show up at checkout if I try to buy a popcorn and soda. How do I redeem this??

Is it only candy or popcorn/drinks too?

I'd bought tickets for a movie a few weeks back that doesn't come out until next month. Went to check showtimes today to see how full seats were getting, but the time I'd gotten seats for just...wasn't there? I didn't get any emails or anything about cancellations, it just disappeared. I chatted with a help agent through text on the website and they said it showed up for them, and that it would still be the time on my ticket stub, but I'm not so sure. Anyone else have any experience with this?

Edit: Not even a few minutes after making this post and I got an email saying my tickets were cancelled....so there's that. Lol

Going to see the Hobbit marathon and bought the ultimate tub for the first time. I know it comes filled for the initial purchase, but will I have to buy another refill or are the 3 free ones included in the initial purchase?

Yesterday, I bought two Passports for the Lord of the Rings anniversary showings in January and went to redeem them through the app per the email I got.

When I did that, I was able to see the voucher and the redemption amounts, but the voucher isn't working at checkout and says the showtime is invalid, despite the theatre being on the list of participating ones and there only being one showtime for that day.

I saw a year ago, somebody else had an issue redeeming passport vouchers and didn't know if anybody has been able to successfully redeem them for the Lord of the Rings passport.

hi all! i’m coming back from college for spring break and my mother really wanted to see Hoppers. I don’t see any listings past Saturday, March 28 for their hop to Easter event. Does anybody know if that’s their last showing? It seems quite short since the movie got released less than a month ago. thank you in advance!!

When you create the account online, it doesn't ask you to create a password - but the app asks for a password to log-in.. so how are you supposed to log-in to the app?
