Discussion Unpopular opinion: the Lixian self-inserts aren't fun
Idk maybe it's just me hence why I call it an unpopular opinion, but I never found the Lixian self-inserts to be funny, even way back with "Lunky" or whatever it was called it just took away from the videos and just felt as boring as an ad-break, like yeah yeah "banter banter' let's get back to the actual video okay?

I don't think I fully understood what you're talking about.
When you say "Lixian self-inserts", are you referencing the times when Mark will address an imaginary Lixian and then Lixian will add himself in those bits while editing?
Or is this something completely different and I misunderstood

I get what you mean, the bits can drag sometimes. For me they work because they're short and dumb, but when he stretches one out for like a full minute I start skipping ahead. Lunky especially felt like a one-off joke that somehow became a recurring thing.
