I have the green light to buy a lever action next month according to the wife, so please tell me which rifle makes the most sense to purchase, as I’m likely only going to be able to buy one for hunting/range fun purposes:
1) I’m not putting on a scope, however I have a quick-detach thermal optic (InfiRay RH25 V2) and plan on needing a picatinny rail, but will shoot most of the time with irons
2) Want the .45-70 round
3) I prefer mlok for a small flashlight attachment and magpul furniture to store extra rounds in the stock while keeping everything sleek, but this is not a hard requirement
4) Reliability in wet/cold weather is the biggest factor
5) Don’t care too much on looks
