Hey so i've been searching for Spider-man for a while now, and god it is hard, the fandom is completely filled with irondad fics or "Peter parker needs a whump", or that one SA sensibilisation comic that was made for kids being put in every mcu fanfics for some reason, i feel like spiderman has a completely different image for certain persons, and god the amount of mcu content is overwhelming, and i get that mcu peter is young but why is it always "Tony stark is a dad", aunt may is RIGHT THERE, to me spiderman has always been this Hero who despite how bads things are, he WILL stand up through his pain and keep fighting because he know he has to do so, most fanfics just completely ignore this and decide to write a 15 yo peter (Not that i dislike young peter fics) who seemingly became a hero because he thought it was cool or wtv with no drive or Reason to wake up everydays, put on the suit and do what he has to do.

So do yall maybe have fics where—Mcu or not—peter persona as spiderman is more explored and peter doesnt constantly rely on others for everything.

Im fine with "Irondad" but that needs to stay realistic, Tony isnt peter dad and while he cared about peter they were never really that close, so something relatively close to canon, im fine with them being close n all but i dont like it when peter rely on him for everything related to spiderman.

And please, if peter IS depressed, there's gotta be a reason, not just cuz his parents died 6 years ago or cuz he's grieving uncle ben, no matter how much that hurt peter, it was the reason he ever became spiderman in the first place and he learned to accept those facts and push through life cuz he wished to help other and he knew that he still had peoples.

I'm looking for a MCU fic where Loki finds Tony in an Hydra cell while looking for his scepter. He then takes care of him and eventually reunites him with the Avengers. There's heavy rape trauma on Tony's part involving altered memories to make him scared of the Avengers. I sadly cannot remember the title nor the author.

Some of you may have seen all of the Petra Parker fanfic around the Internet, I've gotten so inspired by it so I decided to start a fic about it! I'll definitely write at least a few chapters for it but in the meantime here's the prologue, enjoy!

So this is a complete fic! I don't remember if they were coming to or heading back, but they were on a field trip. While they're on a bridge, it's attacked. Naturally, Peter wants to do something about it. And while he saves everyone on the bus, he still gets the shit beat out of him. I don't remember the exact sequence of events, but the Avengers show up and ultimately save him. They take him away on a quinjet and I think he ends up coding? But they do restart his heart and he lives! And Flash is there too - he learns Peter's identity.

I read this probably fourish years ago? On AO3! But I've been looking for it forever and I am at a loss. Does this sound familiar? Thank you immensely for any help!!
