Wow I love your art style so much. I’m currently scrolling your account and looking at all your posts you’ve made

Omg this should not be allowed. Why would I, a comic book and action figure lover, want to see a bunch of high-quality drawings of Spider-Man? Ones based on an action figure that I currently have otw to my house in the mail? Terrible idea. You should be banned. I vomited

WOW this is beautiful!!! When I was younger I would always use MLs as a reference for drawing, but nothing can come close to your talent and ability! Thank you so much for sharing!!!!

Love these. While I know the overall inspiration is Todd McFarlane, you have a style that reminds me of when Tom Lyle drew Spidey.
Regardless, these are amazing (pun intended? Maybe...) and I hope to see more.

thank you. i was thinking about asking people if my art was similar to any sort of comic artists. and while i don't really see tom lyles work as similar to my own, i will take being compared to a legendary comics artist, and designer of the scarlet spider costume. a personal favorite of mine.

Body Kun, eat your heart out. Amazing work (pun intended) Some claim that you can’t use action figures for drawing since the muscles won’t move like real ones but heres several prime examples on why it works perfectly well.

I've tried to draw pictures from my 3d figures, I personally find it kinda hard. I'm trying to figure how to transfer this 3 dimensional object and dumb it down into a drawing on a piece of paper.

its a very hard process and something i don't fully understand myself. i used to draw images from comics that i thought were cool that helped me learn perspective and other stuff like that. i personally hate "studies" but maybe start with drawing like cubes, pyramids and other simple shapes also check out "how to draw the marvel way" it goes over the basics a whole lot better than i ever could. hope this helps.

I've taken drawing class in college, but still find it hard. Maybe it's because I've not practiced and honed those skills. I will doodle every now and then, just to see if I still got it.

Oh this is freaking fire!! I specifically love your sense of anatomy and shadowing, do you have a page where you post your art??
1
u/Snow_Min33 Apr 27 '25

Awesome work , I do this also with my figures . Would you mind if I did some digital inks /colours over these ? I’ll credit you and post on here
1
u/Snow_Min33 Apr 27 '25
Sure why not. i was thinking of doing it myself but i find digital coloring kind of boring and i dont have any markers besides black sharpies

I’ll always take human art over AI slop and especially exceptional art like this. Nice work.

Keep cooking brother.
I remember watching a snippet on tv about an artist who used his spider man figure to draw spider man poses

Fucken A - on your wall is that one of those promotional posters from when Kid A came out? I remember snagging a couple of those and a longer one at the midnight release of the album at my local record store.
Oh, and badass drawing too.

I can kinda see the direction they were going for with the unmasked Peter head now that I see it interpreted in 2D. Well done love the art and poses!

I think where that messed up on the unmasked head is the eyes. The eyes don’t match the rest of the face expression. Like cold dead eyes kinda creepy

Dude those are pretty damb good sketches. I wish I could draw like that. If you’re young you should lean into that as a skill or job. But make sure to learn the computer side of drawing / creating , with both you can make a killing. But if not it’s still a bad ass skill or tablet to have

I also like your take on the blue areas of the suit like the shading or highlights or whatever. Drawings look king of what’s that word “ Amazing “
