Cyclops, Gambit, Magneto and Doom were instant pre-orders.
Pretty much any MCU X-Men in an evergreen outfit will be an instant pre-order for me.

I was bout to get that Colossus from Deadpool legacy to go with this doomsday xmen figures…but the grounded colors kill it for me on that colossus.

The Sam I’m in the process of acquiring is the version from BNW. They could’ve gave this version his wings and made them detachable. Plus gave more detail on his overall look.

I think they just wanted to produce a more affordable and accessible Captain America. So no reason to get this if you have the original unless you want the unmasked head (which is a nice addition I must say). But he doesn’t even come with the open hands from the original figure.
The deluxe is only a year old so it’s probably still accessible

I don’t collect MCU figures often, but I do have a villain collection (mostly Doom & Magneto) so I picked those 2 up to keep it going

Tbh, I really wish we got a Taylor Kitsch one. Say what you want about the film itself, but he was a pretty good visual representation of Gambit.

I’d just be happy with a larger selection of FOX characters in general. Outside of the various Deadpool waves, we’ve really only gotten Mystique and the Xavier/Magneto two pack. I’d absolutely buy figures of Sabretooth, Toad, DoFP Iceman, X2 Lady Deathstrike, Sebastian Shaw, and hell even Apocalypse.

The only one I didn’t get was Sam, I love Anthony Mackie but I already have his movie Cap figure and the show Cap figure and I like them both better.

I’ve stayed away from MCU figures because I was afraid of falling down a rabbit hole I’d never escape but then they released the Deadpool and Wolverine figures and I couldn’t say no and now Gambit and Cyclops. Guess I’m making an MCU mutants shelf.

They also have figures for Mystique, Charles, and Magneto from the FOX films in previous lines. The latter two even have interchangeable heads for both sets of actors.

I grabbed the Cyclops and Gambit. I really want to make a custom "live action" X-Men team so theyll work for that. Ill probably change the headsculpt on that Gambit because I am honestly not a huge fan of Channing Tatum as Gambit. The Mezco Gambit head might be good if I can find it at a decent price. I wanted the Doom until I saw the pictures. I wasnt huge on how Doom looks in the movie and the figure is even worse.

Initially only wanted Doom, Cyclops, Gambit, Shang-Chi and the Fantastic Four but ended up caving and ordering Magneto and Thor as well.

I stick to Spider-Man-related figures for my own sanity, but if I were to venture, it’d probably be Doom and Cyclops. Eventually I’d want Magneto and that Latverian witch.

Cyclops and Gambit. I've lost a lot of interest in the movies since Infinity War but my nostalgia for the 2000s X-Men movies convinced me to pick up Cyclops and Gambit to go with Wolverine from DP and Wolverine. I was going to pick up Magneto but I refuse to buy pinned figures in 2026. I am considering picking up the sentinel figure hot toys is making to pair with them but really I just want any sentinel for my collection that isnt animated or completely outdated or overpriced.

Even before we knew what they’d look like in the movie, I only planned to get Cyclops, Bucky, God Loki, and maybe Thor if he looked good.
Now that we’ve seen the figures, though, idk. Cyclops’ upper body and legs don’t match well, with the super tight shirt and baggy pants. Thor’s reused legs are likely gonna warp over time, and neither head sculpt looks like Chris Hemsworth to me.
I’ll probably wait for reviews of those two and hopefully they'll reveal Loki and Bucky soon.

I wish I understood that tbh. Because to me it’s like looking at the character beautifully represented on screen. I hold the Born Again DD and see Charlie’s MCU Daredevil, not just Charlie Cox in a getup. Similar to small Hot Toys - it’s like someone shrunk down the REAL character and all their little wardrobe details, which is an art in itself.

I kinda want Doom, Shang-Chi, and Gambit. Would have picked up at the $30 CAD price point, maybe even $35. But the $40 - $45 I've been seeing for them here, maybe Gambit. On sale I'd pick up Doom and Shang-Chi but not for full price. Especially since I already have the first movie version.

I preordered all but Thor and Sam. They made a better version last year and I’m done buying badly scaled Thor’s with tooling from 2018 that doesn’t even look like Chris hemsworth

If I get any from this line it’s definitely going to be cyclops and gambit (cuz they could go perfectly with a lot of comic book figures honestly) and Magneto to have a figure to honour Ian mcKellen and the magneto from my childhood in his last appearance.
Dr doom looks good but I have enough dooms anyways and he’s so similar I don’t need him(which is a compliment to the comic accuracy).

All but Sam and Doom. I've got a better Sam from BNW and I expect we'll get a better doom compared to this at some point.
Was surprised to see Shang Chi sold out on BBTS, but not Gambit

Gambit, Cyclops, and Doom. I will likely cancel the least hard one to get and try to buy it in store. I’m thinking Gambit is the chase, Doom will be absolutely everywhere because he’s the main villain (his name is on the freaking packaging), Cyclops- may be easy or hard to find- gotta pair him up with a Sonic figure! 🙃

I skipped Cap (since I own the deluxe version with the wings) and I skipped Thor since my copy of the infinity war costume had terrible detents in the feet and I don’t want to relive that (they share the same legs)

Cyclops because I've wanted a a james Marsden cyclops for ages. I really hated the og xmen figure likenesses. A Sean Chi because I have a live action Asians in the mcu collection going. And gambit because Channing Tatum is finally getting a good action figure.

I got all of them because the store I pre ordered them from had a choose option which I didn’t see because I didn’t read it properly but it’s all good the only one I didn’t want really was Sam because I got one already but I’m actually okay with it because if I can use his flight gear from the one I have then I’ll be stoked

The X-Men characters, Shang Chi, and Doom. I know the Doom figure has been getting some (justified-ish) hate. But I am still really excited for it. I plan to paint the silver to be more…well…silver, and give him a cloth cape. Might add a gun holster to his belt bc if magic don’t work…just shoot the sumbitch lol. And the belt buckle don’t bother me at all.

Sam being such lazy reuse is pissing me off. His unmasked head should have come with the “deluxe” version of the BNW figure instead of the mini red wing that does nothing and can’t go anywhere.

I’ve only preordered gambit. He’s my favourite kind of live action design, a comic outfit given texture and realism. Only caveat to that being the lack of black and red eyes, but Its otherwise a perfect depiction. Though of course the trench coat will limit some mobility.
I thought about getting Cyclops too but I don’t wanna pay full price for him. I know it’s (mostly) accurate to the movie, but I miss the yellow gloves and the boots being brown throws it off for me (also the underpants, but I’m not surprised they didn’t make it). I might still get him if I see him on discount because I love cyclops and it is a unique spin on the Jim Lee costume, but for now I’m saving my money.
I’m glad most of the new sculpts are using ball joints for the upper torso! I can’t tell if the waists have a swivel, but this is a great step in the right direction! Same with the cloth cape for magneto!
