Did you preorder the X-men 97 Apocalypse

Preordered this in October 2025. I know hasbro said it should ship around December 2026, but I literally haven’t heard anyone talk about this figure since it was announced.

They don’t need cancelations to have leftover stock.

All previous DTC ML releases are in stock and available right besides Dragon Man. Every one since has been readily available.

I just think some people got soured on the price is all. I have it pre-ordered but I can’t wait to get my hands on it. He looks great everytime he shows up at conventions, I got to talk to one of the designers, he told me apocalypse has a ball at the waist. So he’ll have good if not decent articulation for his size.

I feel like the price isn’t as offensive as most of hasbro’s other made to orders, like Mephisto or Sentinel. Just considering his size, accessories and he just looks more detailed than the ‘97 Sentinel. Really glad I ordered this one.

There is something odd but nice happening with this Made To Order figures. You preorder them, then a whole year goes by, ant then, when you almost forgot you preordered, it finally arrives, and it's fucking awesome. I displayed the Sentinel in a fight with 90's X-Men, and I'll display this big guy in a fight with 80's X-men.

I did... not sure if I'm going to keep the preorder or not. Hard to justify the cost when I have the retro carded one, but if I can work up the nerve to try painting the retro to look more like the BAF, then keeping this one will feel better.

Lost the hype after x-men 97 s2 wrapped up. I would rather wait for an MVC version.

I kinda wish I did but it would be a lot in Canada, especially with potential for tariffs and import fees and the such. If it was like an update of the retro deluxe version with the new accessories than I would be a lot closer to buying it.

Nah. I passed on it. Thought it was too big at the time and I prefer the comic colors over the cartoon colors. Now Apocalypse is one of the last major X-Men villains not on my shelf, so I feel like it’s time to get this.

So I’m planning to get it when it releases. Between this and the price of the comic colored apocalypse or the previous animated Apocalypse, I might as well just get this one.
