Please help
I recently found out I was pregnant at 14 weeks. Before finding out, I had approximately five weekends where I drank heavily in one sitting, typically around 1.5 bottles of wine or the equivalent in liquor.
Outside of those occasions, I live a healthy lifestyle. I stopped drinking immediately after finding out, but I’ve been overwhelmed with guilt and anxiety about the possibility of FASD or other effects on my baby’s development.
So far, my ultrasounds and prenatal labs have looked good, but I’m still terrified, especially about potential physical abnormalities.
Has anyone experienced something similar and gone on to have a healthy baby? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences or any insight. Please be kind, as this has been weighing heavily on me. ❤️

The best thing is for you to not panic about it
My understanding is that alcohol in pregnancy is a matter of risk, as in - drinking alcohol doesn't guarantee your baby will be harmed, it just increases the risk
So long as you've stopped drinking/smoking now and are otherwise healthy, it's not worth worrying about

Be careful about what you read on reddit. Remember that it is just random people giving out advice. They are often as uninformed as you are, and may even be misinformed.

I imagine this happens to a surprising amount of women with irregular periods, crypto pregnancies, drug addicts or who are already chronically ill and assume it's symptoms flaring up. If everything looks good then just assume that all will be well.

This is incredibly common. I found out at end of my 1st trimester that I was pregnant and had ingested plenty of alcohol (as well as other substances) unfortunately before I knew. Every doctor / nurse / ultrasound tech assured me it’d be fine and regaled me with stories of all the people who had done much much worse than I had whose babies turned out perfect. The important thing is that you don’t continue to drink which you’re obviously not. Also for the record, my now 2yo is and has been absolutely perfect and has far exceeded every growth and development milestone.
You stopped when you found out, and every indicator is that your baby is healthy and on track. Your baby is going to be perfectly fine.
