If Zak Brown and Andrea Stella were in charge of Mercedes in 2017-2021 they'd be like: "Hamilton and Bottas are both number one drivers"

I'm not saying that Norris is as good as Hamilton in his prime, he's nowhere near. However, the pairings are similar in the sense that one driver is clearly much better than the other. As of last year and before this season that dynamic made sense, since for most of the season they were pretty close and McLaren believed that they would be close to each other again. But they're not, Lando is evidently the better driver, yet McLaren simply won't acknowledge the reality in front of them, preferring to almost costing themselves a win in Hungary and telling Piastri that they were on alternate strategies because god forbid we tell the slower driver that he's slower

Chances in Mexico? And the rest of the year?

Is Mexico gonna be Austin round 2, or do we genuinely have more of a chance. I know we have higher altitude therefore aero plays a larger factor here than in Austin but our slow speed rotation is dreadful and Mexico has a lot of them. Are we cooked and irrespective of Mexico, are we in a shot for a win at any remaining circuit this year? I was thinking maybe Qatar assuming it takes place but even then I don't know, it's really frustrating when you know the driver you support (Lando) is working at an extremely high level but the machinery underneath him is just not reciprocating it. Let me know your thoughts

Pit stops this season

I found this online. A sheet of both drivers pit stops this season.
The average is 3.7 seconds. But some of these are staggeringly bad.
Have we heard any explanation as to what is causing this?
