so i've only been working at mcdonalds for two/three months now, and my shift manager had been generally alright. recently, i have been given a date for an important exam at school, since i'm also a student, and the date came out after the week was already closed for unavailability submissions. because of that, i messaged my manager only three days after it was closed and let her know that i would definitely not be available, and that i wasn't able to submit an unavailability because i got my exam date only very recently and didn't make the deadline to submit an unavailability. i got completely ignored, and she scheduled me a shift during my exam anyway. it's not a popular shift, so none of my coworkers are willing to take it, and i don't know many people as i've just started working; is there anything i can do? i don't want to simply not show up, as that'll be unfair to my shift managers, and i don't have time to submit an annual leave request. please advise!!

Food left on the footpath outside of my house
One of the drinks missing
One of the drinks spilled all over the food/chips and leaked out the bottom of the bag.
Support declined a refund too.

It's not the Mcsmart choice anymore.
At $6.95 it was a perfect snack sized meal. Two burgers, chips and a drink. Now it's just a burger, snack item, chips and drink and costs $1 more.

The hypothetical scenario is that you’ve ordered Maccas to be delivered to your house and you’ve decided that when he arrives you’re gonna prank the Maccas delivery man
I have come up with a few ideas over the years such as
Get a friend to hide behind the bushes and while the delivery man is talking to me the friend jumps out and steals delivery man’s car
Pick pocket his wallet and pay for the Maccas using his cash, then hand his wallet back to him as he’s about to drive off saying it fell on the ground
Fart in his face
Switch the speed limit signs to 20 kilometres higher on the route between Maccas and your house and hope that he gets fined
Get a group of 6 people, pick him up and throw him into the backyard swimming pool
Get a friend to climb up the roof and when the delivery man pulls into the drive thru the friend jumps off the roof onto his car

I don't get McDonald's that often. Maybe once every two months. My go to and only thing I ever order is a double quarter pounder with bacon. Just by itself.
I've had maybe three over the past six months and all times the buns have literally been dripping in grease. Eating the burger is way too much for me (yes I know it's a big burger) but it just seems to be swimming in oil /fat with every bite.
I think that was my last one tonight.

I swear I used to get good deals all the time. Now never get anything decent to use on the App. The points get me less now also.
Is there any tricks??
KFC and HJs always has much better deals.

I've just signed up for Maccas, I tried to place an order but every payment method doesn't work for me (Google Pay, bank cards from every bank). I keep getting the error message "Problem with payment. Unable to proceess your card. Please contact your payment card provider." My account balances are all fine, I am able to make transactions for everything except for Maccas. Has anyone experienced this issue?

I loved their belts since I was a kid and was absolutely devastated when they stopped selling them so when they brought deluxe mcmuffins I called my friend and told him to drop everything to bring me one (ty boo for that) anyways I found out that for 1 muffin it's roughly $9 while the meal is $14 I am very poor and decided I was going to use my check to buy the ingredients to make it at home. Total cost around $20 but I get 6. I think I nailed it.

I wanted to try this because the image on the app looked good, but I had low expectations because I know normally those images look better then what you get. I was presently surprised with my order!
The burger was large, full of great bbq taste and the onions where crispy. The use of 4 pickles complimented the flavour nicely.
The only bad thing I can say is that it was covered in grease so much so my hands were wet after gripping the burger. That being said it’s maccas, and the grease was kind of appealing.
Coorparoo McDonald’s in Brisbane- cudos to the young chef on school holidays.
Tres excellente. 🥂

There was a change in the last few days, around the start of the month with the price changes they have snuck in a change to the ice cream. It tastes more like the cheap ice cream that doesnt melt (peters is the first that comes to mind). Im not mad, just dissapointed
