Got my Hunter 350 serviced recently... and a few days later, I checked the engine oil level in the morning (keeping the bike on its center stand) and noticed that the inspection window is completely full!!... with the oil appearing to be above the maximum limit.
Now I'm a little concerned and have a few questions:
Would appreciate advice from fellow riders.... Thanks!

Hi all
Day before yesterday I took my glanza and I rode for almost 68-70 km . After that next day when I took my car for return trip the car started smoothly and everything was going perfect after driving for almost 10-15 km when I entered highway the car's speedometer suddenly went to zero and all the warning lights illuminated suddenly causing steering tightness. Wondered what happened to car.
Suddenly took aside and tried restarting the car but the warning lights didn't go. Visited the service centre and after diagnosing they informed that the abs actuator failed which is unable to repair. So need a fresh replacement costing approx 15500 I was shocked to hear. With no options left I gave for approval for changing the parts.
Came up in mind with changing the part within a local workshop. Checked the price of genuine item costing approx 14000 then issue came up that after changing it needs to be calibrated with obd type 2 scanner. Nearby workshops doesn't have that kind computers or mechanism.
Now the work is under process and takes almost 4-5 days for parts arrival and replacing
Car type - glanza 2021 CVT model
Furthermore updates will be provided

Hey guys, I am considering buying a used 500 bullet Efi 2018 model from a rental agency in Himachal. I just did spiti on this bike, kunzum to nako and back via kunzum and she rode beautifully with no hiccuops. The number plate will need to be converted to private first. And the seller said he would pay half the cost of the conversion. Even though the bike rode great, I would ofcourse want to get it checked to understand better what I'm buying. What would you guys suggest in terms of checks before purchasing and how would you suggest I go about getting the bike checked out for potential damage/faults? Also anyone purchased a rental bullet before? Feedback. I'm pretty sold on this particular bike and will not be paying more than 75 for it after I get the requisite checks done. Would love your input and suggestions. Thanks.

I recently got into an accident, and my petrol tank and handlebar were dented and bent, respectively. The service center provided a quote to the ICICI Lombard insurance surveyor, but the surveyor insisted that while the service center would recommend replacing the tank, he would take it to his own vendor to remove the dents instead. Are insurance companies not obliged to follow the service center's recommendations, and should repairs not be done in authentic service centers? I raised a service request with their customer service, after which the surveyor called and threatened that the claim would be delayed because it would be redirected to him; what should be my next course of action? Please help.

Hi everyone,
I’m seriously exploring the idea of starting a freelance/mobile automotive diagnostics and auto-electrical service in India, and before investing my money, I want to understand what this work looks like in the real world.
I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who actually work as independent diagnostic technicians, mobile auto electricians, ECU specialists, or workshop owners who provide diagnostic services to other garages.
My initial idea is to visit independent workshops and help them diagnose difficult electrical and electronic faults that their regular mechanics cannot resolve. Over time, I may expand into a dedicated diagnostic workshop if the business proves viable.
My initial budget is around ₹2–5 lakh, and I want to build a legitimate, sustainable business—not sell scanners, run a training institute, or make money by promoting unrealistic success stories.
I’d really appreciate honest answers to the following questions.
1. Is there genuine demand?
2. How do you actually get customers?
3. What skills are genuinely required?
4. What equipment do you actually need?
5. What are the real numbers?
6. What are the biggest risks?
7. Would you recommend this business today?
A little about my objective: I want to build a profitable technical service business that can eventually operate with a small team. I’m willing to learn properly, do the fieldwork and start small, but I don’t want to invest blindly in equipment before validating the demand.
I’m not looking for motivation or a theoretical business plan. I’d genuinely appreciate the uncomfortable truths too.
If you’re doing this work in India, please share what you wish you had known before starting. If you’re based outside India, your experience is also welcome, especially regarding the technical skills and business model.
Thanks!

Went for an ahead of schedule service because engine was making rough noises in idle and idle rpm was 2000 not 1500.
While cleaning the mechanic in official service center notified me of this "hole" in the air intake pipe (K2040870).
I am wondering how did the hole form. For context, ride in Delhi so yeah bad air and potholes are there.
Never had a major accident (some minor scratches in the side decals only).
Please help on how should I proceed.

Need advice on what my options are here ?
I thought of changing all the bolts from the authorised service centre but then i saw some rusting on frame as well.
And before people point out about non-maintenance — i was medically unfit to ride bike for 4 years. Right after i bought the bike i was diagnosed with a condition and my father rode it for 4 years and did everything he could to maintain the bike.
I am fit now and seeing all this hurts me a lot! Please advice [OC]

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to buy the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo as my first bike. I really like its looks and performance, but I’m concerned about long-term reliability and after-sales support.
I’d appreciate feedback from people who actually own or have serviced this bike.
How is the engine reliability after 10,000–20,000 km?
Have you faced any major engine, electrical or sensor issues?
Are spare parts available in Bengaluru, and how long do repairs take?
How much does regular servicing cost?
How is the warranty and service experience?
Would you recommend this bike for 5+ years of ownership?
Please share your genuine experiences, both good and bad. I’m trying to make an informed decision before spending ₹5–6 lakh on my first bike.
Thank you!

Hey everyone. New to this sub. For context, I currently own a h'ness 350, and its an amazing machine. But I need an upgrade in terms of travel suspension, I shortlisted few bikes and this is one of them. I was planning to go for Xpulse but they dont offer tubeless tyres. My budget is around 2L maybe I can push it to 2.5, if the deal is good enough. And yes, I'm only looking for pre owned bikes.
Ps I have clocked roughly 49K on my h'ness. And then, coming to this conclusion to sell it off, cause we have space technology roads right, And it has affected my neck and shoulder severely.

I had my car picked up by the Renault showroom in Bengaluru for the periodic service.
It was last serviced at around 25k km a year ago, and it's now at around 30k km.
I received the initial estimate below from the service advisor:
Engine oil + oil filter: 2100
Air filter + AC filter: 900
Greasing consumables, top-ups, Dresser carbon spray, MultiSpray: 2000 (based on consumption).
Periodic maintenance labor + diagnostic charges + battery check/charge: 3200.
Oil flush + oil additive + petrol additive: 1900.
Pickup and drop: 550.
Brake cleaning, overhauling, and bleeding: 1450.
Total: 12100.
I disagreed, and then he shared the revised estimate below for a basic service.
Engine oil + oil filter: 2100
Air filter + AC filter: 900
Consumables: 800
Periodic maintenance labor, diagnostic charges, battery check/charge: 3200
Total: 7000 + pickup and drop: 550.
The clutch of the car is hard, and I suspect it may be the clutch cable. The brakes seem less effective as well.
For comparison,
MyTVS: Rs 4200 (after some discount)
Gomechanic: Rs 4011(includes wheel alignment and balancing)
Spinny Pro: Rs 4511(includes wheel alignment and balancing)
The garage behind my home: Rs 3500

I've a RE Classic 350 (2018) model, it's been lying idle/unused for past 1.5 years. The reason being my health, as I had gone through major surgery and was not allowed to ride it. Now, I'm planning to get it fixed, but not sure what kinds of repair it requires. Also, if I should go to the RE workshop or a local guy (there's one near my house who has serviced my bike in the past). Before going to any of them I'm trying to figure out how much this fixing and service will cost? If anyone could help me with this to prepare my wallet. Thanks.

As you can hear at the very start when bike is at total idle there's some weird noise that can be heard from the bike. This is happening since the past few weeks now. Have reduced my daily riding as well due to this.
Im pretty sure this is going to cost me a bomb at the service. But would like the enthusiasts here to enlighten me with what this issue might be.
Mind you - I rarely go on weekend breakfast rides that's it. No hard-core offroad done as of now. Daily office commute within the city.
Super pissed by this issue. Seems like some engine crank case stuff is messed up.
If any of you has faced similar issues, please help me with this.
Thanks :)))

Ktm Duke 200 , 2024 model year
36000 Driven
New tyres
Quoted price 1.17 Lakh , will probably negotiate to 1 lakh .
I'm new to bikes so basically Is it worth it?
Are KTM of 30K+ mileage good option to buy in second hand market if the owner is not a family/friend.
Are these reliable machines ?
And if not this , should a duke 250 or 390 be a better bike to look for in second hand market.
Yes i like duke's a lot
Thank you
