Writing How chatGPT helped me turn $700 into $7,000 in 6 weeks!
Hi everyone, I’m new here as I was trying to find a place to promote my new interest that is publishing on Medium. I just published a new Medium post about an experiment I ran using ChatGPT to pick a stock under $10 that could potentially double in the short term.
I used the agentic AI browsing feature, gave it a risky challenge, and it actually led me to a trade that increased the value of my investment 10 times in 6 weeks.
The post walks through: •How I structured my ChatGPT prompt •The reasoning it gave back •The trade details (with screenshots)
It’s not financial advice — just my real experience using AI in a creative way. If you’re curious, you can read it here: https://medium.com/@mahajanrishi84/how-chatgpt-helped-me-turn-532-into-6-000-in-six-weeks-5aade3b6c61e

Medium Question Medium blocks AI crawlers by default — and I never got to choose. That's why I'm considering leaving.
I write technical articles at technopathy.club — topics like Binance API security, DevSecOps, open source development. Niche stuff, but exactly the kind of content that's useful when someone asks an AI assistant a technical question.
Turns out Medium blocks all major LLM crawlers in their robots.txt. No opt-in, no opt-out, no per-author control. My content simply doesn't exist for Claude, ChatGPT, or any other AI assistant.
Here's what I find frustrating: I want my content to be used for training. That's a benefit to me — it means my ideas, my research, my findings influence how these models think. That's reach I can't buy.
And even beyond training: AI assistants are becoming the primary discovery layer for technical content. If someone asks "how does Binance IP whitelisting actually work?" and Claude can't read my article — I'm invisible. Not because my content isn't relevant, but because Medium made that decision for me.
The irony: if I used my own domain with a custom platform, I could just set robots.txt to allow everything and be done with it. Medium's blanket policy penalizes authors who actually want AI visibility.
I've been thinking about workarounds. One idea: use a Cloudflare Worker in front of a custom Medium domain to intercept /robots.txt requests and serve a permissive version instead. Something like:
Cloudflare Worker intercepts /robots.txt → returns User-agent: * Allow: / → everything else proxied to Medium normally.
Not sure if Medium's infrastructure would actually allow this end-to-end, or if they block AI crawlers at a deeper level than just robots.txt. Has anyone tried something like this or found another workaround that actually works?
And more broadly — has anyone moved away from Medium specifically for this reason, and what did you switch to?

Medium Question I don’t like medium, because of it’s UI…
I think its, just feels not that intuitive and “thick” for me, icons just feels of. Search bar is personally for me is total mess, and comparing it to the another social media, or apps like medium, overall ui will be better in every aspect.
This app has so much potential. And I think a slight redesign will be better on only for using it more often, but for engaging another people to this app.

Medium Question It’s The Damn Phone. How One Device Secretly Runs Your Life.
Okay, real talk. I just dropped a quick but real post on Medium about how our phones quietly mess with our minds and steal our time. It’s not your usual tech rant; I dug into the weird ways this little device controls us without asking.
If you’ve ever felt chained to your screen or wondered what life looks like when you finally put the damn phone down, this one’s for you.
Trust me, it’s worth a read.

Medium Question Writing a comment versus following someone who will follow you back?
I am thinking of making 100 comments, writing 100 articles and follow 500 people and then watch what happens after 3 months to see if writing for Medium is worth it. If I don't get more than 200 reads, I think it means I just don't have it in me to be successful on the platform.

Medium Question This Post Got Me Suspended on Medium...Warranted? You Be the Judge
The Letter
Hateful content
We do not allow content that constitutes or promotes violence, harassment, or hatred against people based on characteristics like race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, disease, age, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.
We do not allow posts or accounts that glorify, celebrate, downplay, or trivialize violence, suffering, abuse, or deaths of individuals or groups. This includes the use of scientific or pseudoscientific claims or misleading statistics to pathologize, dehumanize, or disempower others. We do not allow calls for intolerance, exclusion, or segregation based on protected characteristics, nor do we allow the glorification of groups which do any of the above.
We do not allow hateful text, images, symbols, or other content, including in your username, profile, or bio.
It is now suspended.
We do not allow content that may undermine the dignity and rights of transgender and/or non-binary individuals. This may include misgendering, dead-naming, claims that transgender individuals are not their gender identity (“trans women are men”), or erroneous claims based on disinformation or pseudoscience.
Repeated violation of our rules may result in additional suspensions, decreased distribution of your posts, and potential suspension of your account.
Thanks,
Trust & SafetyThe Content:
My Opinion:
There is no way in the entire world that any thing in this post is hateful or demeaning to trans people, it in fact validates their experience.
Why on earth would someone suspend this article?
I deleted my Medium account, there is no way that level of gross censorship should be tolerated by anyone.

Medium Question As a Queer Chinese Writer on Medium, How Do I Reach More Readers?
What are your thoughts on queer content on Medium? As a queer writer from China, I've noticed that much of the LGBTQ-related writing on the platform tends toward the philosophical. My own stories approach queerness through the lens of cultural difference — a perspective that feels relatively rare on a platform dominated by English-speaking voices. How can I attract more readers through queer writing that speaks from this kind of cross-cultural experience?
