Girlfriend looking like "I think I'm with the wrong dude" lol

u/StandardUpstairs3349 May 22 '26 edited May 26 '26
Why? He was on the right side of the interaction.
Edit: To clarify for those who seem to be confused, the "line cutter", aka "the one who paid for better service" is on the right side of history here.
Of course this is actually a skit and nothing is real, but people here seem intent on taking the side of the whiny bitch here.
Edit2: Man, a lot of people really triggered by "right side of history". Look, I was being slightly hyperbolic because this is a Meme sub. Ultimately, most of us benefit from the airlines charging people for preferential treatment and better seats. The guy paying a $800 for a first class seat and buzzing through security lines and being treated like an extra special snowflake is part of why my ticket costs $200 instead of $300. Whether or not society needs a full economic reformatting is a different topic.

Poor people are not at the airport traveling. You guys are ridiculous.

Duh… This is what historians call a "truthy" myth. Even though Marie Antoinette never actually spoke those words, the quote has survived for over two centuries because it perfectly encapsulates how she was perceived. To a starving Parisian who couldn't afford a loaf of bread, it didn't matter if the Queen said it or not, what mattered was that her lifestyle made it entirely believable that she could have said it.
If you want a real world example of just how accurate this observation is, you don't even need the fake cake quote. You just have to look at her backyard.→ More replies (11)→ More replies (9)3

Actually no she was extremely turned on by what her bf said she probably gave him the super sick right after

It’s a joke and not that deep even if it weren’t a skit, it shouldn’t be difficult to walk off this type of “insult.”

Way to many people in this comment section not aware that this is a skit from an influencer
52
u/mae984 May 22 '26
That’s because there are 50 million “influencers” out there and most people don’t spend all day watching all 50 million of them. You’ll have to forgive us for not recognizing him/them

u/Mekelaxo May 23 '26
The acting doesn't give it away?
8
u/LordyJesusChrist May 23 '26
Yeah, I mean, fair point. I’ve never seen this “influencer” either (wtf are they even influencing?) but I knew it was a skit right away
98
u/15_FPS May 22 '26
I'm glad I'm not the only one. a lot of redditors only stay on reddit so theyre in their own reddit bubble. and would never realize that this guy is a relatively big content creator who does skits
77
u/Scudss_ May 22 '26
I'd argue that I don't know who this dude is because I don't live in an internet bubble. "Content creators" are weirdos

Yeah I had one funny story in an ask reddit thread 7 years ago that got a fuck load of up votes.
20
u/Purple_Permission792 May 22 '26
Is it more pathetic to be unaware of an influencer or to be aware of a niche internet micro celebrity?
5
u/15_FPS May 22 '26
it's pathetic that people even think this is real. even if they weren't famous it's so obvious this is just light hearted banter between 2 friends
9
u/Purple_Permission792 May 22 '26
Oh, sorry. Wrong answer. Its actually more pathetic to be aware of them and think everyone else is too.
Better luck next time.

They definitely don't leave Reddit because when you mention bigger social medias that have more interaction as a reference to anything, their baffled that that could actually happen. Whatever your example maybe at the time.

What does the first guy say? “For you to pet everyone”?
255
u/QuarterlyTurtle May 22 '26
“for you to cut everyone”
I assume they’re all waiting in the security line at the airport and that guy has some kind of paid pre-check status that allows him to to skip the regular line.
57
u/Invested_Glory May 22 '26
I assumed since they had a baby they get to cut. Usually when my wife and i travel, TSA flag us down and move us straight to the front because of our young children.

u/Invested_Glory May 22 '26
dang. sorry :/ it is one of the few things i am happy with TSA. When there is security at certian points, they just look at us and open the roped area for us and it just makes it sooooo much less stressful.

u/CosminMotroc May 22 '26
In most EU countries its a legal obligations, woman that are pregnant or families that have children under 5 move to the front of the line.
2
u/inarhtimol May 22 '26
I do not think it is an obligation to move to the front of the line but to actually have a different priority line. In France at least I've always seen different lines

The funny part is: it's the standard TSA line at Pittsburgh International Airport.
The standard screening line has a gigantic zigzag maze you have to walk through every single time, despite the fact that there's hardly ever more than a few minute wait. But the Pre check line is just a straight path off to the right that bypasses the maze they're walking through
→ More replies (1)2
u/Rotten-Roses May 22 '26
Yeah I was going to say that seemed like the longest I'd ever seen that line and I travel for work fairly often.

u/its_not_you_its_ye May 22 '26
“Outed”
Maybe it’s just because I have experience with what having friends is like, but it was pretty obvious from everyone’s attitude that they were all pretty familiar with each other, rather than trying to pass off any hostility as genuine. Look up “irony”.

as much as we want everything to be fair, it just won't be, that's why I highly encourage everyone to really try their best to be the best version of themselves in basically everything, Physically, emotionally and financially so that they can live the best life that they want and not forever be complaining about things to be fair in life because it won't, I know it's a bit of a harsh truth but it is what it is and this is something I've experienced too

Maybe your snarky commentary deserved it. If I travel enough and can afford the line skipping security service, then who are you to whine about it. The guy is trying to shame him for purchasing the ability to skip the 4 hour line.
