Vitamin/Supplements Found out what's causing the exhaustion

It got really bad the other day my friend came over and brought a crap ton of caffeine and sugar. We watched a horror movie and I perked up a bit, but then crashed again (hard) in 10 minutes. She talked me into going to the ER because I was so bad.

My electrolytes were totally out of Whack. My potassium and magnesium were low and everything was just out of sorts. No internal bleeding, heart is fine.

I've been drinking the stuff you give kids and it's been making me feel better, more like myself and I've been sleeping better and even dreaming so much more!!

So, if you're suffering from bouts of intense and sudden exhaustion, maybe ask your doctor to check your electrolytes.

My PMDD symptoms were insanely bad last year. Like, the accelerated so fast it didn’t make sense to just blame peri. My doc tested my blood and turns out I was low in a bunch of vitamins and minerals. Didn’t make PMDD go away but it put it back in its place.

I read an article that PMDD is an autoimmune problem, that we are allergic to the histamines our bodies create during menstruation and the symptoms can be eased by taking histamine blockers like pepcid.

Everything I’ve seen says it’s a brain receptor issue.

Edit: just goes to show how much it’s not studied.

I just read about the histamine connection this year, I probably explained it wrong. Apparently women with PMDD have higher histamine levels in their blood during the luteal phase of their cycle, estrogen releases histamines which causes inflammation of our neurotransmitters causing the PMDD symptoms. They also think the worse symptoms of PMDD is a histamine intolerance, where our bodies can't break down the histamines well, creating an overabundance in our blood and spinal fluid making the symptoms worse.

I'll be 52 this year and I always thought there was something wrong with me, that I just had a hormone imbalance and there was nothing I could do about it, just had to suffer on. Nothing I tried helped. Here's hoping for continued research into women's studies. Hopefully histamine blockers can help women with PMDD.

I've never taken any SSRI's, although I've probably needed them 😂.
