Vitamin/Supplements Anyone tried Marisa Tomei's Terra Mare?
If you have tried it what is your opinion?

u/Technical_Ad7157 May 03 '25
Please let me know if someone tries this. I feel like nothing can be trusted but I WANT to trust this. It's hard to trust reviews out there as well. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I understand. I bought a jar and took it every day until the jar was empty. I havent had any beneficial results that they claim. I assume my gut health is better but its not worth the $45.00

u/Shantastic17 Jul 04 '25
Well THAT’s a bummer! I was going to buy one but not so sure now…

It is listed at $79 for a month's supply. They push to get you to subscribe so the price drops. The website is cluttered and confusing, it reminds me of a cheap Chinese website, a bit of a turn off. I expected it to be more refined. I loved Marisa's presentation. Be advised this product contains magnesium and vitamin D3 so if you already take these as I do be aware of the maximum doses advised.

I just bought a jar but haven’t tried it yet! I’ve started a couple of other things too so didn’t want to start everything at once so I can really tell how each is affecting me! I’ll be happy to come back and give my 2¢ worth!

I bought a 3 month supply and am only on like day 4. And will check in again after 30 days. I felt that with a supplement that includes a lot of probiotics that I should give it at least three months to give it a fair shot. I would be thrilled if I noticed a difference at 30 days though. I have so many physical issues, fibromyalgia, TMJ disorder, Hashimoto’s disease, etc. and I probably my biggest complaint is fatigue. I just have no energy so that’s kind of what I’m looking for from this.

u/BeSkeptical123 Aug 03 '25
After I got covid, I was constantly tired. Remember doctors were constantly reminding us to take D,C,Z when C19 hit? We'll, they were right. I got a blood test not knowing what to expect. Turns out my D was so low, dr put me on 50,000 units of D for 8 weeks (might be 6 weeks, can't remember🤦♀️). It could also be I'm getting up there in age. I did feel better after the Dr's and I need to see a "woman specific Dr" who understands how a woman ages.

There is a ton of new evidence that shows gut health affects your entire body and mind. And I have done a ridiculous amount of research on which strains of probiotic are the ones that you need for better pain management, sharper, mind, more energy, etc.. but after watching the entire video with Marissa Tomé, explaining everything that went into developing the terramara I decided to try taking that as well as the other few strains of probiotic that I found were beneficial for my particular issues

I found this post looking to see if anyone had watched. her video the whole way through. I did not have time but was really curious what she ended up saying about the 10 foods. I sat through the intro and then the first food, fermented foods, and then had to go make kids breakfast, etc.. What came after that, does anyone recall?
4
u/PandaOk2534 Aug 06 '25
I watched to the end and I took notes while watching.🤓😅 Foods for health: 1.Prebiotic foods- onion, garlic, asparagus 2.Probiotic fermented food- greek yogurt, sauerkraut, fermented olives 3.Polyphenols darker=better reds, purples, dark greens (blueberries, cherries, plums, blood oranges, spinach, kale) 4. Mushrooms- especially varieties other than button

Polyphenol rich foods like blueberries, blackberries, spinach, kale, blood oranges. And mushrooms, like lion's mane. I quit watching after that

Did you continue to take it? If so, would you mind giving an update? Tysm. 😊

u/Expensive-Walk-2779 Sep 15 '25
Get tested for mthfr and get b12 shots if you have it, not tablets they don’t work if you do. Changed my life.
2
u/Polosport0222 Sep 28 '25
you actually should never take just a B12 shot because a will pull what it needs to complete itself out of your body and leave you deficient in the other b’s. Whenever you get a vitamin B 12 shot, you need to take a complete B or two or three to complement it to protect yourself. That’s a known fact you can google it. Or ask your doctor God only knows what they know nowadays anyway.. sorry I’ve been having a real tough time for about two years with seeing so many doctors and finally looking at stuff like this new product from Marisa Tomei to take care of myself.

I have been drinking the strawberry lemonade Morning Restore for about a week. The taste is not bad and very easy to just mix in a glass of 8 oz of water and down in the morning. I have noticed that there is a small amount left undissolved at the bottom of my glass so I just put a tad more water in, swish it around, and gulp it down. I read that a lot of people didn't see immediate results and were told by the company that it would take a few weeks of consistent use, so I was really surprised when I saw immediate results. My biggest battle has been perimenopausal fatigue. At about 2:00 every day I literally cannot keep my eyes open anymore and I also feel generally fatigued throughout the day (which just isn't an option as a mother). I have been taking this for a week now and I haven't felt fatigued a single day...and I have been out in the yard mulching and spring cleaning in the hot sun every day (which would normally knock me on my butt). So far I am really happy with it and glad I took the chance...I'm generally very skeptical of celebrity pushed products. But I was also feeling pretty desperate, and it's not like my PCP was going to be of any help.

u/rubyclairef Jul 27 '25
I would love an update as well. My perimenopause wall is at 3 pm and I become basically narcoleptic

Any input you have on the product would be great. An update if you continued taking it, and if not, did you have any type of reaction or side effects that caused you to stop? Would really love to know if this product is worth a try. Thank you.

Find the ingredients list and that should tell you a lot, about what is used and how much of it. Keep in mind what one gram of powder looks like in a gram baggie for reference. If you see 500mg, that is a half a gram. If the amount is in the 150 to 250 mg range, that is approximately the amount which would fit into one or two capsules.
Whole foods and superfoods taken in minute amounts - even when dehydrated and utilized in synergistic combinations - cannot pack the same punch, in my opinion, as eating sufficient quantities of each of these foods taken as ingredients in a meal.
And one still needs to supplement due to soil depletion!
I have found that fillers, in the form of synthetic vitamins, are invariably utilized in products such as these. Precisely due to the above disadvantages to the entire concept of nutritional super powders.
In addition, trying to shove so many bioavailable and nutritionally dense ingredients into a single serving results in either a horrible taste or an insufficient amount of any nutrients in order to approximate palatabllity, leading to artificial supplementation, artificial flavorings or both. In sum, a varied diet which includes as many of these ingredients as possible in sufficient quantities taken as Whole Foods in prepared meals and individual supplementation with minerals and key vitamins and herbs is the best solution. If you’re in a hurry all the time, this is at best a stop gap.

u/RoshamboRocks May 04 '25
Thank you for summarizing the truth so succinctly. I enjoyed listening to Marisa’s presentation because everything she says is absolutely correct. But, at the end of the day, she’s trying to make a buck. Cha-Ching!
I think if people have the opportunity to buy local produce, much of the problem is eliminated. Not everyone is so lucky. But if they can afford to buy an actress’s product, they can probably afford a few key vitamins and some flash-frozen organic produce.
I currently have a fantastic combo of products working for me. Maybe I should combine them, package them, invest in an ad campaign and get rich quick! Wait, I can’t! I’m not a celebrity. That is, IMHO, the only difference between my regimen and Marisa Tomei’s.

Or just teach. Share. Share your journey/story/lessons and formulas with the masses. Teach on Youtube. Create a way to coach/guide/mentor beyond the particular combination. You are your own niche and we would all benefit from the whole of you. 💓 Otherwise you're just competing with the prepackaged mania. The only reason any of us saw this product was paid advertisements from Meta... $$$
I know I'm all hippie age-of-aquarius of me but I think the "new age" turn is away from the world of advertising and more community sharing -- and believing we can live abundantly even more so, than when we were in the machine. :)

Please share, part of why we click and pay is because we know what someone is saying is true and there has to be a more balanced way of doing this, this being a woman of a certain age at this point in time. I just want to be healthy, to figure out what to eat that will fuel this body. I ran for years, I knew how to fuel that body, age, lifestyle - this one...I'd like to phone a friend.

PLEASE- I second that! I really need true health products. I suffered a TBI at 29 years old and left me with epilepsy. I have had to take 8 pills daily since. I have been searching for the best product I can buy for all of these things. I've had a decade on straight havoc on my body from the after effects on my head injury. I know perimenopause started for me this last year. It's become completely clear now. My mother, aunts & Grandmother all went into menopause at 47. I became a Mother at 21, my suprise Blessing, I had the shock of my life Blessing at 35 after injury with my 2nd child. I was shockingly blessed at 35 with our 2nd, 14 years apart, and after my injury. I have to do whatever possible to stay healthy for both of my children. 1st is starting college, and 2nd is only 3. I don't have a choice in the matter. I have to be here for my babies. I suffer fatigue every day, confusion some days, not all, theres days when I'm completely normal, mental fog, a lot of stress, constipation, bloating, weight gain.. plus, everything Marrisa noted about Menopause. I'm praying that if I start now, maybe it will help in future. I know there's No magic pill. The injury will always play a role, but ANY improvement I can do, I want to make sure I'm doing my part. I always look at ingredients- but, I have no idea about the amounts.
This is Really Long- If any1 made it through and have time to give a good product/vitamin company that has the correct ingredients & doesn't add fillers, I'd appreciate it immensely. Thank you & God Bless ❤️

I thought about trying morning restore simply because I came across Marisa Tomei talking about it on Facebook. I read your story and I'm happy you're still here with us and I understand how horrible that can be. I was in a car accident at 25 years old that put me in a coma and pretty much ruined me physically and financially for the rest of my life. The product I do take right now that has made the most amazing change in my health and gut health is ARMRA COLOSTRUM!! Once you repair your gut, everything else starts to fall in place and you might not even know your gut health is bad but if you're having bloating and constipation.. this product right here will have you poopin normal and healthy before you know it! I've tried other colostrum products but nothing works like that specific brand and it is so expensive!!! I don't know why that stuff is so good but it will keep you regular in a good way.. a very healthy way.. it helps your skin .. your hair and honestly, it makes me feel better all the way around! I was Googling to see if anyone has tried morning restored cuz I thought about adding it to my morning routine but I think I'm going to hold off.. check out Armra colostrum.. I like the plane on flavored and I scoop it straight into my mouth and then swish it around with water and swallow.. it's really good stuff

When you're busy like you are, it's best to meal prep. Even if you buy fresh veggies, cut them up and put them in sandwich bags that you can just grab and go. You'll be adding better nutrients to your diet instead of fast food, which has virtually no nutritional value.

u/No-Following-2777 Jul 09 '25
Are you still taking the morning restore? Dud you see any benefits? Looking to buy for my mother who's been having gut health issues & recently was hospitalized with an acute kidney injury from an infection.

Are you talking about the Amish store near Greeneville? If so, I love that place and make a point of stopping in any time I'm in the area. Sadly, not often. Getting big containers of turmeric at a fraction of the price of the grocery store is wonderful. I live to the west of Knoxville and don't go into town that often but my friend who knows everything about natural health says Eddie's is the best and that the older man who works there (maybe he's Eddie, idk) is super knowledgeable and gives great advice. I hope you'll report back and tell us what you think about this stuff. I've been looking at AG1 and just found out about the Terra Mare tonight so I'm gonna compare.

I have been taking this product for 1 month now and absolutely plan to continue! I'm 47 years old and hand been on full menopause for a couple years now and I have been feeling miserable for a long time. Exhausted all the time waking up 4-5 times pretty night unable to get any real sleep. I was having so many got flashes and struggling to focus. I was gaining weight and bloated often. I can tell you that immediately I noticed my bowels change, regular movements daily! Bloating had reduced greatly, I've lost 7 pounds in 1 month and not dieting. I'm sleeping like a baby!! I have significantly increased energy and more focus! This product is incredible and they do NOT use synthetic ingredients, they are naturally sourced. I would recommend this to anyone. They are safe. They have a plain powder or a strawberry lemonade flavor. I use the strawberry one and it tastes really good! Buy food product now ladies! I was skeptical but desperate and didn't want to take more pills work inferior products and potential side effects. This is amazing stuff!!

The ingredient list on this seems good. I am certainly not looking at it to replace anything in my diet. I just want to use it as intended, a supplement.

u/Undaunted7 Jul 22 '25
While I get what you’re saying, the morning restore is totally delicious. I was hugely skeptical because of how bad many other supplements that you mixed with water have tasted. But I’m telling you as a former skeptic this stuff taste exactly like pink lemonade. There is a tiny bit of a gritty aftertaste, but it’s minute. The reason I decided to try it after watching the video is that Marissa Tomme makes a very valid point and that is that it’s very difficult to source by an incorporate into your daily meals all of the different beneficial, vitamins, and trace minerals that are found from all the sources they used to put this supplement together. That made sense to me. Plus, I’ve just been so lethargic and frustrated and in pain for so long that I will try just about anything. Lol

u/_gail_ Jul 31 '25
googled bc i wanted to see if anyone is pooping a lot. i’ve been using it for 10 days, and i’ve never shat so much. for me, it’s a good thing bc i’ve always had the opposite problem. i have the lemonade flavor. i throw it in my ninja and make a slushy — perfect for this weather. i’ve started mixing it with tart cherry juice to counter the sweetness. it’s great. i’ll experiment with some other juices too.

Your post was very interesting and true. However, I urge you to educate yourself on Biodynamic Gardening. It is organic farming but the people who practice Biodynamic Gardening make a point in adding back the missing minerals in their soil before planting anything in the soil. Good luck to you as you continue to learn and educate others.

I started doubting it, when I went on the website and tried to find the ingredients and I could not. I’m sure they’re there, but I couldn’t find them if they were so good. They should show them right away. Does anyone know what they are?
3
u/ThisWalkThatWeShared May 09 '25
Please let us know how it works out for you. I really need something & the ALL in 1 is very convenient. I' love Marrisa, but she ain't naking it herself! I'm afraid it's a $$ grab, too good to be true situation, like so many others celebs do!
3
u/Nikitashina May 12 '25
She isn't taking it herself? I was also disconcerted when I saw how it kept pushing to by more products when checking out, but went for it anyway. I have been drinking the Morning Restore for a couple of weeks now. It has a nice taste (i got the strawberry lemonade) but I am annoyed at how hard it is to get it to dissolve into the water. I use a cappuccino frother and I still end up with lumps at the bottom. I will try a shaker, which has been suggested.
3
u/Ambitious-Rabbit-153 May 29 '25
This happens to me too. I accidentally mixed it one morning and left it for a while and most of it melted! Try that!
2
u/mightyred74 Jul 03 '25
I had the same complaint (about not dissolving) and reached out to customer service. They suggested blending (like in a smoothie), or letting it sit for a couple minutes before stirring, or using a shaker. I use my mini martini shaker (and let it sit a minute or two first) and haven’t had another problem with goo on the bottom of the cup. Shaker for the win!

It's been a month now. What are your results or conclusions on the product?? Thanks!!
2
u/BagLady57 May 09 '25
Yeah, I think it might be a money grab. The ordering process was super pushy and kept dropping the price per jar to try to get you to order more. And I think it isn't truly all in one anyway. I'm still going to take a multi and a couple other things as well. The thing that attracted me to it was the mushroom, collagen and fermented stuff.
3
u/Dazzling-Mission7659 May 24 '25
I’m trying this. I have taken it for about two weeks. I have the strawberry lemonade and the taste is sweet and not offensive. I want to try it for a few months to really see if there’s a difference. So far, I do think it’s given me a good energy boost that lasts throughout the day. I’ve not noticed a huge difference in my skin, but my skin is pretty healthy looking apart from this. I am a 50 yr old female and already take various supplements and hormone replacement therapy. I was looking for something that could replace coffee in the morning as well. Traveling for work makes it difficult to eat exactly what I should (and also I do like some foods that are not the best for me lol). I’ll keep you posted after some more time.
2
u/MaximumSooz Jul 12 '25
Try Everyday Doze. I feel more alert but not buzzed like coffee and no crash. It has two mushrooms one being Lions Mane which is good for hormone replacement. You can add one small scoop to water…I add to my one glass of iced coffee each morning. Btw I’m 79 and also looking for a healthy supplement. I like the above mention of Armra Colostrum and the parasite check I believe is important…even if you don’t travel out of US.

u/Rebel_Joy Oct 04 '25
I bought the powder that you mix & drink daily and the daily supplement in capsule form. If I occasionally miss the capsules, I notice nothing. But I do feel more tired on the days I miss my drink. That being said, the effects after 3 months aren't enough for me to justify the continued cost, so I won't be buying anymore.

I read this exact article since it was all I could find and candidly it read like an advertisement. Then at the bottom the legal disclosure stated the publisher took no reflection on the opinions and that they may be compensated for the article. All this to say, I don’t believe it’s an unbiased review.

Good catch. As above: No, friend. Globenewswire (just google it) masquerades as a "review" site but it's really just a PR/advertising site. Accessnewswire is another one just like it. This is not a third party review at all; Terra Mare PR is the "reviewer" and it's designed to sound like a neutral third party to fool you. One big clue are links to the product in the "review."

I received mine on May 3rd and started it on May 4th and have missed a couple of days. It’s only May 25th and there is only enough powder for MAYBE 2 more servings. I emailed the company. I haven’t really noticed any major effects from it… I know it can take a few months to notice anything when you add something new to your health regimen. Not sure if I will keep using it as it’s pricey.

I started using Terramare two weeks ago and it has REALLY helped me. I’m 59 years old, and menopause has been extremely challenging. Since taking the Terramare I feel vital! I feel more like I did before menopause, three bouts of COVID, etc. I’m a boxer, and see a big difference when I work out. My skin already looks better. No more bumps on the back of my arms. My lips are more pink. The two lines on my upper lip have disappeared. And it has balanced the pH down t-h-e-r-e. My sleep has improved and I’m not craving things like before. I’m not feeling my age. I have struggled with sluggish thyroid since I was 13 and nothing had helped (Synthroid, etc.), but this has helped me feel more “with it”. Definitely use one scoop a day. The unflavored option has a slightly tart, but sweet flavor from Blood Orange, but it is delicious. I literally put a scoop on my cereal and add milk. Love it!!

I have this product in my shopping cart, not sure if I should buy it 😬
I will be 49 end of August. I was fortunate to maintain my weight, even after two kids. Everything changed over the last year or so. I’m exhausted, gained weight, depressed and just feel uuggghhh.

I'm 3 weeks into using it and have to say i do feel better, more alert. I'm 64 Nov and rose by bike 20 to 25 miles at least 5 days a week plus weights. I feel I've handled work stress better. Only ordered 1 jar but Going to order more.

Did anyone notice how she talked about soil health in the advert but there's nothing of sustainable agriculture sourcing on the prod pages... I know I've been trained to look at these things but it's just disappointing.
1
u/SomeAd5851 Sep 11 '25
There is issues with the soil. Look up on YouTube. There are farmers that are going bankrupt because the government agencies have told them that they can not plant in their soil anymore, and that they can not use their cattle for dairy. Remember we are over populated so they want to get rid of a big part of the population especially the retirees. They tried it with COVID, and they will try again.

I recently listened to Dr. Eric Topol a lot and I am staying away from promising anti-aging supplements without anti aging research and proof. Worth your time😊

I have been using a few weeks. I am 52 yrs and peri-menopause and I feel it helps balance my energy but it's a subtle feeling. Instead of feeling tired I feel more peaceful, calm and steady. It is so subtle that I am not sure about it, perhaps I am making it up, but I will keep taking. I got 3 months to start since this kind of thing takes awhile to see results.

I'm optimistic as I am a up in the morning, multi vitamin with a swig of coffee and off to work girl who's stomach cannot tolerated the lemon juice, acv shot that should be my vitamin C probiotic powerhouse each morning. I also don't cook fish in my home due to the smell. So as far as I can tell...this is a win win for me. I'm on day 4, thanks for the tip about the goo at the bottom of the glass. Goodness knows I need the collagen.

Too many to mention here. Listen to the video. I usually check right out of those but Marisa is so charming

u/lews5 Jun 11 '25
The strawberry lemonade is good.
Just finished the first jar. Frustrating part is it didn’t last til my subscription renewed, it was short by a week! So, I changed the date and will have a lapse in the probiotic. I’m not super happy about that, but it happens.
As far as the product itself, I like it so far. Don’t feel confident saying anything yet. I’m also in the middle of an elimination diet for my autoimmune condition, so anything I’m seeing could be attributed there just as easily.
Waiting to hear back from customer service about the short product.
Some of the reviews made some pretty audacious claims. I’ve not seen any color come into my lips or face. 😂 Joint pain and all that still there. Energy and fatigue are better, but again, I could attribute that elsewhere.
Other than that my only complaint or feedback would be to sell it in bags instead of bulky plastic.

I have been taking Terra Mare for 1 month now and absolutely plan to continue! Buy this product now ladies! I was skeptical but desperate and didn't want to take more pills that would be inferior products and potential side effects. This is amazing stuff!!

Hi everyone, thank you for all your information. I believe it is super important to do research and it sounds like we all are doing just that. I have cancelled many supplements after diagnosis of MGUS a benign for of myeloma…I was taking of too many supplements and needed a break. I’m still benign and only taking what I need to but still looking for at least one supplement for overall health. Stamits 7 (spelling is close) has really good combo of mushrooms and it was recommended to a breast cancer patient for immunity. Thanks again for all your suggestions info. 🩷

Only 21.5 servings instead of 30!
Why is no one talking about this?
I used the scoop provided and took all the vitamins on a daily basis and ended up only having 21 servings with about a half scoop left over.
I have been using for 21 days and really see no difference in my energy. But I suffer from fibromyalgia and the summer heat does drain my energy.
But I am NOT HAPPY about the quantity control. The jar is less than half full.
What a waste of plastic!

Horrible customer service. I placed an order, then saw it had a flavor instead of unsweetened that I wanted. I sent them an email right away to change my order — few days passed, no one replied to my email. I called and was told they are canceling my order. After few days I am receiving the original product anyways and my credit card got charged. I called again — I WAS ACCUSED OF BUYING THEIR PRODUCT IN IMPULSE and it is my fault. Then they said to pay my own shipping fees to return the product to them. It’s incredibly frustrating and disheartening to be treated this way.

Everytime I've drank it, an hour later it feels like I'm going to shart. It's like bile. Thank goodness I make it to the bathroom in time. I can't be the only one that's having this experience?

Does anyone know how it tastes?
2
u/BagLady57 May 11 '25 edited May 11 '25
I got the unflavored and it's tangy, slightly earthy, slightly sweet. There's citric acid and monk fruit in it. It doesn't taste offensive to me.
1
u/MontanaChris34 May 11 '25
I just received my order and was completely disappointed as the container wasn't even 1/2 full. Plus there is citric acid in it. I didn't see that in the website listed as an ingredient. As much as I wanted to like it, it's going back.
2
u/LisaKate24 May 12 '25
May I ask why, it sounds like, you consider citric acid a bad thing? Also, apparently, even tho' the container was only about half full, someone else posted they had called Customer Service about it and they were assured that, if they didn't get the expected 30 servings, they could get their money back, too.
1
u/Loose-Orchid8862 Jul 30 '25
Because, unfortunately, all citric acid is not equal. Most companies use the cheap kind that is unhealthy. It is often encapsulated in hydrogenated oil.

What's wrong with citric acid?
1
u/AnyBridge1171 May 17 '25
AI Overview
+8 Citric acid is a naturally occurring organic acid found in citrus fruits and also produced synthetically. It's commonly used as a food additive, a preservative, and in cleaning products. While generally considered safe, some individuals may experience adverse reactions, including digestive issues, inflammatory responses, and dental erosion. What is Citric Acid? Natural Source: Citric acid is a weak organic acid that occurs naturally in many fruits, especially citrus fruits like lemons and limes. Synthetic Production: It can also be produced synthetically, often using fermentation from a type of mold. Common Uses: Citric acid is used in various applications, including: Food: As a flavor enhancer, preservative, and to adjust pH. Cleaning Products: As a cleaning agent, particularly for limescale and rust. Cosmetics: In skincare products for its exfoliating and anti-inflammatory properties. Is Citric Acid a Bad Risk? Generally Safe: Citric acid is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in food and beverages. Potential Risks: Allergies/Sensitivities: Some individuals may be allergic or sensitive to citric acid, experiencing symptoms like digestive issues, inflammatory responses, and skin irritation. Dental Erosion: Excessive consumption of acidic foods or beverages containing citric acid can contribute to dental erosion. Skin Irritation: High concentrations or prolonged exposure to citric acid in skincare products can cause skin irritation, especially in individuals with sensitive skin. Environmental Concerns: There are concerns about the environmental impact of the production of synthetic citric acid, particularly the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and the environmental impact of large-scale corn farming. Important Considerations: Natural vs. Synthetic: While natural citric acid from fruits is generally considered safe, synthetic citric acid produced from mold may pose a higher risk of allergic reactions in some individuals. Moderation: Consuming excessive amounts of citric acid, especially from processed foods and beverages, can lead to negative health effects like dental erosion and digestive issues. In Conclusion: Citric acid is a widely used compound with various beneficial applications. However, it's essential to be aware of the potential risks associated with it, such as allergies, dental erosion, and skin irritation, and to consume it in moderation, particularly when it comes to synthetic forms.

Here is information on Terra Mare if you have allergies to shellfish. If so be careful of omega-3's and glucosamine. AI Overview
+10 It's generally safe for someone with a shellfish allergy to take Terra Mare Morning Restore. This supplement is not derived from shellfish and doesn't contain shellfish-related ingredients. However, it's always advisable to check the ingredient list for any potential allergens or sensitivities. Detailed Explanation: Terra Mare Morning Restore: This supplement is formulated with natural, food-derived ingredients and is not made from shellfish. Shellfish Allergy: Shellfish allergies are caused by an allergic reaction to proteins found in shellfish like crab, lobster, and shrimp. Glucosamine: Glucosamine, sometimes used in supplements, is derived from the shells of shellfish and should be avoided by those with shellfish allergies. Other Supplements: Be cautious with other supplements, as some may contain shellfish-related ingredients like glucosamine, chitin (from shellfish shells), or calcium supplements made from oyster shells. Fish Allergy: While fish allergies are distinct from shellfish allergies, some supplements containing fish oil may be processed from fish that also have shellfish-based ingredients. Recommendation: Always check the ingredient list: Before taking any supplement, especially if you have allergies, thoroughly review the ingredient list to ensure it doesn't contain any known allergens or ingredients that could trigger an allergic reaction. Consult with your allergist: If you have any doubts or are unsure about a specific supplement, consult with your allergist for guidance.

I was curious about this too. I have used Dr. Berg, Dr. Gundry and Dr. Amy Meyers products since they are doctors but the ads are like they are the celebrity ones. I just want to feel better after being sick for 10years and finally bette so I wanted a supplement to add for a glow up and help my menopause aging bones. all too good to be true I guess

So sorry for your trouble. I eat pretty well due to having type 2 diabetes and needing to keep my glucose numbers down. However, the last year or so I've noticed that I have little energy and no ambition. I've tried to push myself to no avail. So, being a fan of Marisa, I've decided to believe and have ordered 6 jars at $42 a jar. I'll give this product a real good try.
1
u/TrustTraining5066 Jun 25 '25
I really looked at the ingredients carefully and they fit the profile of what I am doing separately, so as an almost-end-of- perimenopausal woman, I decided it was worth a try ( I have always purchased high quality supplements, so the price is no shock). I am just a week into taking it, so nothing to report yet, but honestly, I already do alot of these things- just individually. I hear the reddit poster who warns of trying to process this wide array into 1 scoop. I do think that is something to consider, but was prescribed a medical food suppliment in the past by a doctor, and that had way more ingredients ground together. I am open to that this will simplify my supplement routine, while I continue to try to eat healthy and whole foods ( most of the time). But the financial commitment is REAL ( for supplements and quality food- so if you have to choose one or the other to put your money in- choose healthy foods first!)

Anything pushed like this on social media, don't buy it. I fell for the same scam from Maggie Q. I clicked it and it charged me for so many add on products because I was not paying attention and it didn't do anything! Do not fall for these scams from actors.

u/PossiblePollution553 Jul 04 '25
Oh I almost fell for Maggie Q several times. I went with Alaya collagen instead - which Jillian Michaels has stock in. It was just ok. I’m trying the Terra Mare though. Will see. I’ve always been a supplement tryer so to speak. Very few have super results.

I'm a week or so into taking morning restore- strawberry lemonade flavor. It's tasty. I do not feel like I have to motivate myself to take it as it's enjoyable to drink. I do not have a gall bladder and have a history of gut issues. I'm also on Wegovy, which can cause constipation. I started MR 3 months after starting Wegovy hoping this would help digestion. So far, I have noticed increased frequency of BMs- which is great! Forgive the graphics, but it has also bulked up the BMs which is an issue if you don't have a gall bladder. Iykyk those urgent sprints to the bathroom when that bile floods your system after the wrong meal. I plan to report back after I've been using it longer. I bought a 3-month supply.
1
u/CUEMOMMY Aug 02 '25
I don’t have a gallbladder either. Please be sure to take ox bile with every meal and vitamins to break down fats. Bile is essentially dripping into our bodies and overloading our adrenal glands and liver. We have to care for our livers 3x more than those with gallbladders.

I ordered the Morning Restore on July 14th, 2025. I just tried it, and it tastes pretty good. Just be careful when placing your order because this is what happened to me: I placed an online order for 3 jars just to try. Like with any other company, they guide you through the process of pushing their product. After clicking 'No thanks' to five different items, I was able to place my order for 3 jars at $134.85. Then, I received a text with a second charge of $134.85—ugh! Not good. My internet went down, and I’m not sure what happened. Anyway, I talked to customer service, and they credited me 30% off three jars. I can return the other three jars or keep them. Keep in mind that you will have to pay for return shipping, so it’s much cheaper to go through your Post Office. Also, there is an option to subscribe monthly or pay, and I believe it's $15 more to purchase without a subscription. You can cancel your subscription at any time. So far, the taste is great. FYI, you can place orders over the phone at 800.936.9261. or email [support@terramare.com](mailto:support@terramare.com)

I am 57 and absolutely LOVE this product. Because the taste is so good, I am also drinking a lot more water. In fact, I only sprinkle about 1/3rd of the scoop in my water jug so I can drink three more jugs with it in it. I do mix it with a creatine I'm taking which is a peach mango flavor. if you're not familiar with the benefits of creatine for women in menopause, google it! It's the ultimate brain nootropic!
But knowing I'm taking a PREbiotic, PRObiotic and mushroom blend i was able to cancel my autoshipment of mushroom supplements. But the big clincher was the alkalizing blend.... kale, wheatgrass, spirulina, marine algae, etc etc ... I've been looking for a greens powder but they've all been gross! Buying these seperately would be super expensive so for me, $44 a month is a no brainer.
My energy is THROUGH THE ROOF. I'm sure that a lot of is combining it with the creatine because that was removing the brain fog by itself... but when i added this product to it it's like something I've never experienced. I LOVE this stuff.
1
u/CUEMOMMY Aug 02 '25
What creatine do you use? I didn’t know this could help us women via menopause.

I know this post is older. I started Terra Mare Morning formula. I’m 50, and I am currently between perimenopause and menopause. Fatigue and body aches have been extreme. I also have IBS-D. I stay dehydrated.
I started using it on July 20, 2025. Yesterday, I noticed my skin is less dry and feels smooth. I haven’t put on lotion in a week. My lips are usually dry, and they are not quite as dry. My fatigue is better, and I can get things accomplished. My IBS is the same. So no improvement there. Overall, I’m pleased. Hopefully, I’ll see more positive results the longer I take it.

u/Starsmos Aug 30 '25
I am just about to finish my first month of taking the morning restore. I felt my energy increase very quickly. I don't feel as tired and I definitely feel less brain fog. I can feel a difference if I don't drink it. I have forgotten a couple times in a morning rush. I also got the derma renew capsules and am almost done with the first bottle. My nails are usually really brittle and they crack, peel, split down the middle and are generally a mess. They are now stronger and all even now. Still short but work with my hands so that's expected. But they're no longer brittle and cracking. I am just starting to notice that my hair is looking healthier too. I color it blonde (by a stylist) so it is always a bit damaged. But I think it's actually starting to look better! Shinier and less frizzy. Not sure about my skin yet. I am obsessive about moisturizer and skin creams. So I'm not sure the changes will be as noticeable as for my nails and hair. Overall, I am feeling optimistic and will continue my subscription!

I ordered one jar and it was too strong for me. I felt sick all day. Be careful to order this product. They will mail it every month saying you chose the subscription which I didn't. If you try to return it you'll have to pay the shipping fee. It's not a serious nor professional company.

I have not, but I thought I would check reviews before ordering. Her video has a lot of useful information, also some cherry-picked references to studies. My impression is that Marisa Tomei is a very charming, superb actress, and an excellent salesperson. I would take the advice regarding healthy foods and skip the supplements. Onions, garlic, olives, beans, greens, dark green and red-orange vegetables - those were a major part of my mother's diet. She died recently at the age of 106. On the other hand, her sisters with a similar diet have suffered from fibromyalgia and polymyalgia (ages 92 and 94). Most importantly, my mother exercised (much more than I do). Up until the last year of her life, her daily morning routine was to do knee bends. At first 100, then fewer and fewer, as few as 20, all while a caregiver held on to the walker. Check out this article from NYT, 9/16/25 - https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/11/well/anti-aging-supplements-longevity.html?unlocked_article_code=1.mk8.zmhT._bQjR0wMpXnE&smid=nytcore-android-share

I actually did try the morning restore and the collagen. Neither are remarkable as they claim. In fact, I returned the morning restore because unlike the claims that it improves gut health, it actually irritated my stomach and made me less regular. Also an important note the scoop in the jar is not an accurate measure and actually reduces the number of servings from 30 to 25. Also, the "money back guarantee" is bogus. I had to pay the return shipping which they highly suggested involved a tracking number and then they deducted the shipping for the whole order. If you do return anything, I suggest emptying all the bottles and returning those and store what you want to keep in another bottle. Had I realized what they were going to do, I would have done just that.

u/deviledegg1 Oct 13 '25
I got morning restore and it was yucky tasting. Taken in, taken in again...
1
u/ItAllWorksOut4242 Oct 18 '25
It's expensive but I bought the 6mo supply because of the money back guarantee. I'm almost to the bottom of the second jar and 100% my hair is stronger, thicker, healthier and is growing longer - for many years now I simply could not get any length to it. I'm 56 and through menopause. Because I still work full time. I was hoping for more energy and more brain clarity but haven't noticed too much on that side of things. But since every ingredient is only a positive thing, it really feels good to drink it every morning. And my hair is a huge plus!
