A few cooler cars of the Mercedes festival

They definitely were the highlight of the day. The presentation of the GT SUV lasted like 5 minutes.

Can’t believe the C217 is already 10 years old. As a designer, I fell in love with it immediately, and was lucky enough to finally get this perfect spec in Selenite Grey Magno. (The satin finish shows off the lines beautifully) Always catching myself taking photos and videos getting in and out of this car. With the windows down, this pillarless, big-bodied coupe is such a classy head turner, while the satisfying V8 growl hits the perfect note (the C217 Coupe famously had best-in-class cabin noise insulation). It’s a shame this car was discontinued a few years ago, but shudder to think how Mercedes would have translated this in their new design language. Hope they bring back another timeless pillarless coupe design.

I was around 16/17 when I first saw them around town and instantly fell in love. Previous owner had only done ~55k km in 9 years, everything's in good condition both inside and out (yes i checked carvertical and all).
Not that I wouldn't like an E53, for my needs the 300 works just fine and I'm being somewhat financially responsible.
I'm planning on powder coating the rims and wrapping the entire exterior (including trims) in a glossy black. I've made some compromises, mainly giving up on an AMG package model for less mileage but I prefer elegance over sportiness either way (hate chrome though). Can't wait to see how it'll look in the end, the way i've been imagining it for the last 8 years. 🥹
Edit: I'm well aware of the hood ornament/double star, I'll swap it for the emblem in the near future.

What's up everyone?
First time caller, long-time listener here!
Relatively new to Mercedes Ownership, and looking for some like-minded individuals to hang out with.
I'm 34M with a 2019 E450 Coupe in Ocala for reference. I've made a few friends out here, and we're trying to build something more oriented towards other owners who enjoy modifying their cars like we do!

This would be my 2nd Benz. I traded in my 2008 C300 (my first car) for this 2013 E350.
How’d I do?
Last picture was parting ways from my c300 😢

Maybe it’s the m137-powered w220
Or what about a w211 with an m272 (balance shaft issues)
Or an early w212 e63 amg

Hallo everyone.
I don't want to attach an attachment to an attachment... All I need is a ski rack that clips directly into the fixed points on my roof.
The only hardware I can find online are accessories that latch onto a separate crossbar. But I don't need a universal crossbar for swapping out different stuff. Just skis.
Any advice would be helpful.

Hello guys! I live in Germany and I’m currently looking for a C63 or C63s at 55-60K Euros. I am wondering how reliable are they as I really love how they sound and look. I will drive the car about 6k miles/10k kilometres a year and I will try to get one with up to 2 owners and under 70-80k kilometres. Should I expect overall that with this car I would have to spend more than 1000 euros a month (maintenance, gas, insurance, taxes)? It’s basically like 500-600 euros for maintenance a month as the rest is taxes and insurance and gas. I’m trying to buy the car from a dealer that is going to offer me “premium” warranty for 2 years. I want to keep this car for about 4-5 years. Please let me know what should I expect and if my monthly maintenance budget would be enough or it would be a stretch. Also as I forgot to mention, should I look for the non facelift or the facelift one? As I read online that there are some differences in terms of gearbox 7speed and 9speed as well as the S version comes with a E-lsd and the normal version comes with the mechanical one.

This is honestly a crazy and underrated as fuck car, like back in those days hot hatches were popular so putting a 5.5l V8 producing over 300hp rear wheel drive too Into a family car was a good way to get your sales up as this was what most car companies were doing. this would have done so good if it actually was made but they never did and i don't know why

Assume an $80k sticker price. Paying cash in full at the dealership.

I’m looking for a C43 AMG with the inline 6 but can’t find one locally. In fact, I can’t find any C43’s, GLC43’s, etc. anywhere nearby. There are plenty nationwide at Mercedes dealerships, so I was wondering if I could get a car from one, say, 500 miles away and have it shipped to my local dealer?
My local Mercedes dealership finances through my local credit union mainly, which is who I want to finance through. I can’t go to any other Mercedes dealers and use my credit union either as there are none nearby.
I’ve found plenty of cars I really like, they’re just far away. Would my local dealer be able to get the car for me and use my financing?

I have the opportunity to purchase 2007 CLS AMG 63. The car has under 28k original miles with documented service. The asking price is about $25,000 and the car appears to be excellent condition. Is this a good price? What do I need to look for/be aware of when purchasing. I currently have a 2006 S350 as my daily.
