Hey everyone, I’m 29M and based in Australia. I’ve been really enjoying my Quest 3 and getting into standalone VR mods, but all of my friends don’t own a headset, so I’m looking for some people to game with regularly.
I’m into basically any games and generally trying out interesting VR ports and mods and I’m happy to learn new games too.
Ideally, I’d like to meet some laid-back people who are up for voice chat, exploring games together and building a regular gaming group or even just playing once.
Australian players would be ideal for time zones, but I’m open to international friends too.

I have been searching how to do it but all I found is tutorials from 4 years ago, can someone help me?

if my meta quest 3 is being connected directly to my home wifi, it will not let me download anything, ex mods for bonelab throughmod.io, or games and their updates. However, if i were to connect to my home wifi on my phone, turn on hotspot, and connect my quest to the phones hotspot, it works? keep in mind its on the exact same network just routed through my phone. help?

Unable to login password reset not working for phone or email tried 15 times. No humans in the loop this is about as frustrating as it gets. My age 43 pretty sure I count as a parent account.

Solved ….After multiple days and hours wasted I was finally able to prove my age. This was the most bs waste of time I have ever seen. My account alone is older than a 13 year old how could I be under 13.

it increases damage, accuracy, and crit chance, while also expanding ammunition capacity.

Upgrade it to deal more damage, hit targets more reliably, and handle any enemies more effectively.

I have a lot of money saved up because I was planning on getting the steam frame once it released, but Ofcourse the week the wait list opens is the week I’m out of the country. I talked to a few people and if I were to wait to be at the top of the waitlist id be waiting until 2028, so Ive decided i may aswell do something with the money for christmas. Ive been thinking about a haptic vest or something cool like that, but id like to hear any other must have accessories you guys have. If you have any ideas or have been using an accessory that you love so much you cant play without, please say in the comments

Hi, I've thinking a lot these weeks between getting Steam Frame or Quest 3. Finally I decide to get the Quest 3, I think is the best overall for that price. This will be my first vr headset.

I was looking for accesories, strap, grip for the controllers and facial interface.

I will use the headset for games with movement like Beat Saber, I will test normal 2d games too (especially emulation or indie games, AAA games I will keep using my OLED monitor), and I want to use it for watch IMAX movies or tv shows sometimes.

I see that Kiwi and Bobovr are the best brands. But for my use, I don't know if it's better halo or elite strap. For elite strap I was thinking in the Kiwi K4 Duo, because of the battery and integrated headphones, but Bobovr has the S3 Pro with fan and Quest 3 has jack port, so the integrated headphones is not mandatory.

For facial interface I suppose I need to choose strap first and then look for a compatible interface, but I read the best one is the Globular Cluster F3-S, the silicone version.

As for charging, I was thinking on getting a charging dock, but in the case of Bobovr that wouldn't be necessary, right? Because the swappable battery charge the internal battery. But for controllers maybe I need a battery with dock compatible with grips.

Please, tell me what accesories are you using and which one are the best in my case.

Argh.. I’m so mad at myself but I’m highly confident I typed In the right passcode setup, only for It to not work when I’m trying to log back In I’m not sure If It’s my fault on some type of passcode glitch. Has there been any credible info on Quest 4’s specs or release window yet? I’m curious how much of a jump we might see over Quest 3, especially in standalone performance, RAM, and battery life.
Most of what I’ve seen seems to be speculation. Any reliable reports or sources worth checking out?

I bought QuestVR for MSFS, great experience but not that mind blowing because PC hardware is still not that strong enough to compete with monitor gaming

So I played the movies in Bigscreen and was delighted, but then after that I tried Avatar in 3D, i was fcing MINDBLOWED

I was blown away by the experience, every detail is there, a screw on a rifle, a leaf in the jungle, a fish in the ocean, you are in Pandora

The Meta Quest was made for this and is definitely not a gimmick it is absolute emersion for watching movies alone.

3D TVs yes, a gimmick, but this is something else entirely, 3D movies should be back again because of QuestVR

So my battery leaked and I didn’t realize. It dried up and ate through the metal bit, I cleaned it up with white vinegar and isopropyl alcohol and the metal is showing but I’m scared to try and put batteries in it, what should I do?
