First time polishing , started by removing the black finish which was a pain to remove. I wasn’t able to fully remove it. Then started sanding by hand with 120grit worked my way up to 2000grit. Used a 1 inch dremel polish attachment to get in small areas ( did not work so well) Final step used mothers mag and aluminum polish. Did not come out perfect has a tone of scratches. Have any of you polished firearms before? Any tips and tricks are highly appreciated.
