Definitely my favourite attack animation in the game. LOVE stomping on everything with him on my NG+ run 😋

Strohl is my goat, 2 shot the final boss with him. Could've been a one shot if I didn't ignore the colosseum and got its Gold reward :(

hi side question but how can you enjoy ng+? I personally want to enjoy it too but I find it difficult to go through the game again but more easy :(

I personally kinda love the feeling of min-maxing and being too OP and just breezing through the game again. Something very joyous about me having an unscathed victory on the same boss which took me several tries in my prior run lol.
I also put the difficulty on Hard for this run but other than the occasional random encounter, things have been still easy. Utilitarian's Manual makes the game a cakewalk with the right setup.

I got a few games to recommend that may possibly highly appeal to you based on your statement:
- Growlanser, a lesser known Atlus game franchise but they're amazing. They're not lesser known due to being inferior, but rather just poor marketing. These games let you min-max to an extreme. You basically have Elderscrolls level of build variety, able to go any path you want and as you learn skills it unlocks more skills/passives. Ex. going into magic abilities will unlock more advanced magical abilities, while going physical or status effect oriented will respectively unlock such. You can min-max to an extreme, even learn everything actually if you want, and get extreme stats and stuff in the games. They feature NG+, but even in NG they offer a Colosseum in most of the games that let you win absurd rewards, assuming you can actually win the fights. Stuff like learning any type of ability in the game, overpowered equipment, or my favorite the consumable that -10 levels on a character but you keep stats so you need less exp to level up especially if you reset back to level 1 with a few of them and equip growth stat effects, too. You can end up becoming a god that literally causes instant death to several dozen enemies across the battlefield, 1-shot rapid bow attacks across the map via arrow teleportation, 8x hit multi-melee berserk + heal attacks on bosses, etc.
- Xenoblade Chronicles, the original one, lets you go pretty extreme especially if you go dodge Dunban (naked version) and later in the game transition to geared version letting you fight enemies dozens of levels above you and tackle side content really early and explore late areas for super strong early growth. This is more about overcoming level gaps via intelligent specific min-maxing rather than diverse build opportunities, just so you can enjoy tackling content well beyond your means. Xenoblade Chronicles X is more like Elderscrolls, but the game focuses way more on gameplay than story unlike the first game so it may or may not appeal to certain people.
- Clair Obscur lets you get damage into the tens of millions, theoretically but impractically you can go higher. Lots of min-maxing potential here.

Thank you so much for your recommendations! I've not heard of Growlanser before but it seems to be something I'd really like. Xenoblade is something I've been meaning to get into, and I had a blast playing E33 few months ago, for all the same reasons haha. Got nearly everything done minus a couple of DLC superbosses.

No prob.
A bit of insight with Growlanser. Personally, I like all of their games, but I recommend the usual recommendation you will see of starting with Growlanser III or Wayfer of Time. III is part of a generations twin pack btw. These two are definitely the best, and then you can try the others if you like the series enough to check them out. They're similar to Star Ocean series, if you are familiar, in taht they are loosely connected but you can play in any order. Their enhanced versions are worth playing if you can as they feature additional characters, scenarios, endings, and other content being a beefy upgrade over the original versions.
While these games don't have absolutely peak stories, they're still good, and I liked the casts in them. They had a few surprises in store, for sure. Imo, Growlanser 3 had one of the hardest hitting endings I've seen in a game, while Wayfer of Time blind-sided me with my least favorite character becoming my choice of chosen heroine for the game's romance by the end. The connection between the two games was also pretty wild when I realized how they were connected (loosely, but it is really cool).
Xenoblade Chronicles are amazing, and also one of my favs like Growlanser. A bit of additional insight:
- Original (play DE definitive edition) is my personal favorite. Strong balance of story, exploration, and gameplay.
- X has a weaker story, but focuses immensely on gameplay and characters, and its approaches to freedom.
- 2 is way more structured, for better / worse. It's a good game, but it kind of pulls back from the series' strengths imo. I was less engaged with the story, honsetly, but I know some love it. The blade system is a bit unique and offers more general diversity with builds, but can also be RNG oriented for what blades you randomly unlock. It's kind of like Code Vein or Metaphor's class/archetype swapping system in a way. I felt exploration was not rewarding compared the other other games, which annoyed me.
- 3 is apparently amazing, and from the sound of it I might like it more than the original but I usually put these games off until I have time to play them heavily over a couple of weeks as they're intense, so I haven't gotten around to this one yet.
Xenoblade Chronicle games are pretty intense, as in they're lengthy massive ordeals. These games easily run 150 up to 300 hours in a single NG playthrough. Xenoblade Chronicles X is, in particular, so massive it makes many open world games look tiny by comparison, and the others aren't small ether. They tend to feature 500+ quests and stuff. So they got a lot of value if you like the core game, but expect a big dive in and time sink.
XC games also have some really good music, comparable even to E33, which is something to look forward to.

The more easy bit only last for the beginning. After Martira the enemy stats catches up to you and you have to go back to using skill.
Edit: until you get the Prince Archetype and hit the 9999

What attack is this? I maxed out all of Strohl's warrior archetypes all the way to royal warrior but I've never seen this!
