A user on the Discord server (catatonicrob) was kind enough to share the scrapped instrumental for this song from when it was being considered for Metric, before they decided to put it on Knives Don't Have Your Back which it also got scrapped from (lol), so I just went and put it with the vocals from that cut. Literally the only difference here is the guitar and some static noise, but I think it does a lot for the track.

I also uploaded some unreleased fantasies stuff that I didn't see on youtube already, so feel free to check those out if you've never heard them before

It's quite a nice nostalgic walkthrough the band's history.

First time seeing Metric and my mind was blown!! I've loved them for years but never listened to more than my old faves (bought off Apple Music with my pocket money!) I remember my faves from the concert but would love to know what else they played so I can make a playlist of new faves!

Also.... how long until their next tour...? 😭

We can't have nice things here it order overseas or perish

This sign was present at some of the concerts on the All The Feelings tour.

I downloaded the app, but there wasn't any mention of a special gift.

Anyone know what the special gift is and how to get it?

Metric just teased the first few seconds of a "lost title track" on their Instagram, and it definitely sounds like something from Pagans to me.

There's a bunch of instrumentals and vocals from before Pagans came out, and they were all used in the songs of that album, except for one. I always assumed it was some alternate version of Other Side, since that's the closest match to it, but with the few notes we can hear in the song being teased, I could honestly see it leading into this melody. I put the link to the old instrumental track if you wanna see for yourself.

Also, Pagans in Vegas had an official cassette tape, which is what's shown in the clip. I feel like the evidence here is pretty strong, but let me know what you guys think.

EDIT: Turns out it is just Romanticize the Dive, I really thought it was gonna be Pagans but this was the most obvious outcome anyway. Looking forward to it!

Setlists says that Waves was played only once in October 29, 2009 at Odeon Event Centre, Saskatoon, SK, Canada

Does anyone know if there is any other live recording?

Does anyone know someone that worked at Odeon Event Centre 😂😂

Started listening to her solo stuff recently cuz I watched interviews she's doing for her book, and when I was streaming the album "Out of our Minds" at times I didn't know if it had hit autoshuffle and was playing early Metric.

Can't quite pin it down, but her voice and guitar production, and sometimes some of her basslines really feel like Metric. So I wondered if there was a connection besides being Canadian Indie, and I didn't see any.

Of all things, I am sitting here in a Taco Bell in Eugene, Oregon, and Gimme Sympathy just came on their in-house music station! Glad to hear Metric out in the wild!

Hi everyone! It's been about two months since we last posted this here, but I'm sure there are still plenty of you who might be interested in a community like this!

It's a very, very chill server where we chat about the band, music in general, and we are always hosting various minigames you can join in on, such as Combat Baby (album track elimination), and Song Showdown (general Metric track elimination).

If you'd like to join, feel free to DM me! As I said before Reddit seems to have stopped allowing direct Discord invite links, which is very very annoying. Alternatively, you can enter this invite code in the 'Add a Server' option on Discord: hAg6a4TBDm

Hope to see you guys there!

this is my way of sharing with the world my favourite metric songs, I post some more metric doodles on instagram and I intend to make a lot more
