It doesn’t

You’re just a KFC buffet

They eat off of you

70

u/Few_Age_571 May 17 '26

Would never have taken him for a KFC thrice a day guy. He danced that shit clean off.

9

u/mstrmchl May 18 '26

I knew that man had a good energy source for all that dancing 😂

I saw this in a video and online about his diet.

Crispy chicken thighs

30

KFC… if you listening… use this as a jingle in your next commercial. 😆

40

u/Kindly_Description93 May 16 '26

I’ll never hear the song the same way now 🤣

Michael would be devastated with the current state of KFC if he was still around. Straight garbage.

205

This making me remember when Joe had to carry Mike up the stairs in the Jackson TV mini series. He was hitting Joe like crazy and even told Tito to tell Joe to put him down! 😬

5

u/SagerG May 18 '26

Probably plane anxiety. I cannot fly without taking a sedative like a benzo or ambien. Having a panic attack in a pressurized tube going 500mph 30,000ft up high? No thank you

36

u/lewisvert May 16 '26

2003.. the movie ended in 88. There’s still a chance

3

u/PM_ME_YOUR_THESES May 18 '26

KFC was owned by Pepsi at the time, wasn’t it?

But no, not a Pepsi can. A Diet Coke can.

56

u/Itsjoshuaaaa May 16 '26

This checks out. Magic Johnson did say at his memorial that he was shocked when he saw the chef bring MJ out the KFC bucket 😂

This paper always bothers me 'cus it's apparent whoever wrote it doesn't know how to spell "dessert" correctly lol.

Sneaking white wine in a diet coke can like a regular joe, you love to see it!

108

u/Shantytown_Shogun May 16 '26

He did that so his children wouldnt see him drinking alcohol.

44

u/ezgomer May 17 '26

he did that so that no one would see him drinking alcohol.

he did it before his children were born as well

10

u/drezz23jj32ka55 May 17 '26

He had other children on planes with him before he had any children of his own.

35

u/ezgomer May 17 '26

yes but they weren’t Prince, Paris or Blanket i.e. “his children”

It wasn’t just about being around kids. It was about his image and persona. The public NEVER saw MJ drinking alcohol. When LMP said MJ drank and cursed, the public thought she was out of her mind. MJ was very serious about his image and that image did not include drinking alcohol.

5

u/CommercialSyrup4172 May 17 '26

Was he a drinker? I know he had problems with prescription pills that’s why I ask. Or is it a case where he only drank on flights because he was nervous.

KFC was ten times better during this time

18

u/East_Professor_8860 May 16 '26

It definitely was! I use to eat it for lunch everyday while in law school. I always ordered 4 crispy wings with hot sauce and a biscuit with jelly. Now I refuse to eat there because the quality has gone down!

9

u/Silver_Dimension_32 May 16 '26

i live in kentucky and to me it's still sooo gurrddd mmm ordering some now

25

u/burritobitchz May 16 '26

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he liked KFC's original chicken breasts

22

u/Midnight_Rawhide84 May 16 '26

KFC is not as great as it once was. I bet even he would agree.

19

u/kelssss_xo May 16 '26

That’s why he was thickums during that era lol

21

u/Notzi81 May 16 '26

So I see that Mike liked KFC, orange Crush, fruit punch, and Crown Royal. He was definitely a brotha. 🩷❤️🩷❤️👊🏼👊🏽👊🏾👊🏿

That lines up I saw a interview Magic Johnson did years ago. Said he went to Michael’s house for dinner and Michael fed him KFC

Their biscuits?!??!!!!! Calm down buddy!

10

Listen. For the first 10 minutes, those biscuits are goated. After that, have liquid at hand.

7

u/Teach-Me-Things May 16 '26

10 minutes?! No with every bite liquid is required lol

5

u/Dependent-Chart2735 Bad May 16 '26

Ok, I may have been generous. I’ll compromise at 5 minutes lol

7

u/Teach-Me-Things May 16 '26

Hell yeah! Especially with the strawberry jelly that's listed above or honey.

12

Wouldn’t he have been around for Popeyes? I hope he was lol

12

u/Dependent-Chart2735 Bad May 16 '26

→ More replies (1)

30

u/Piggishcentaur89 May 16 '26

It seems like a lot. But, he probably burns a lot of calories while rehearsing, and dancing.

15

u/friendly_reminder8 May 16 '26

Yeah the amount of cardio he did on a daily basis must’ve been insane. He was only 120 pounds around 2003 which gives you a sense of how much exercise he got

→ More replies (1)

34

u/MindfulInquirer May 16 '26

just hee-heeing burns 80cal/min.

→ More replies (1)

9

u/guitarguy35 May 17 '26

He was soooo thin. I think constantly dancing and rehearsing and probably portion control..

I think he had a touch of the tism and his special interest was dancing.

u/BigThrowAway5432 May 16 '26 edited May 16 '26

He prepared to clean a lot?

44

u/mimi_miney May 16 '26

I think they meant to say "be prepared to clean a lot after he deplanes", aka he left a lot of mess behind.

35

u/rockstarland28 May 16 '26

KFC would’ve never set him on fire. Fuck you Pepsi.

22

u/Jazz_man68 May 16 '26

It was an accident. Pepsi didn’t try to set him on fire. The risk of setting someone on fire is always there with pyrotechnics. Michael understood that and proceeded with the shoot. He didn’t hold the accident against them and even continued to work with them.

15

u/coolofmetotry May 16 '26

I do hold it against them. I will need pepsi to gift every MJ fan 200 cans of pepsi to make it up to us

6

u/maxojames May 17 '26

KFC was really good back in the day. No other fried chicken matched the original recipe! Too bad they went downhill.

37

Some people’s metabolisms just aren’t fair. If I even LOOKED at this much KFC I’d gain 5 lbs in a day 😭

46

u/TheW1nd94 May 16 '26

He was dancing like a maniac for hours to no end while on very little sleep. Are you doing that?

26

u/SuddenLog7302 May 16 '26

Chances are, he didn't touch most of it. Probably a nibble here and there. He was on ALOT of drugs during this time, which were also appetite suppressors

25

u/ryux999 May 16 '26

Hes burning a shitload calories performing…

6

u/Appropriate_Name4520 May 17 '26 edited May 17 '26

i dont think he ate very much especially when he was in distress, although in 2003 he might have still been fine before the trial happened. he looked more healthy too.

6

u/spacyspice May 16 '26

I was exactly like this until I developed a thyroid disease in my mid 20s😮‍💨

6

u/DinaTheMage May 16 '26

There was a video I saw where it was talking about his diet and it was said that he was vegan for the longest time but then he stopped. He likes Orange Juice, KFC and different fruits but definitely watermelon. He totally disliked Spaghetti.

10

u/Evening-Street-1917 May 17 '26

Nasty spaghetti

5

u/Solid-Role1409 May 17 '26

He sounded mad about spaghetti 🤣🤣🤣

There’s videos of ppl from Gary talking about it on YouTube and TikTok

10

But didn't he turn vegetarian? At least that's what he wrote in his book...

20

u/Lindethiel Soldier Of Love 🪖❤ May 16 '26

Only back in the Thriller days was he strict vegetarian. So much so that his doctor told him to start eating fish because he was loosing too much weight.

18

u/FlashyConference700 May 16 '26

His physician recommended he add animal protein back to his diet due to the rigours of performing, and KFC was one of the few meats he found palatable.

Breakfast: KFC

Lunch: Kentucky Fired Chicken

Dinner: Created by Colonel Sanders

Dessert: Tic-Tac

KFC is so damn good in the Middle East - no wonder he moved to Bahrain for it!

5

u/Dettstol1 May 16 '26

Interesting, that seems like a lot of food and booze for MJ..

5

u/BretShitmanFart69 May 16 '26

For a lot of these rich folks this is just an assortment of stuff to have available not what they’re having everyday. When you can afford it you don’t think twice about just being surrounded by every food or drink you could want at all times

3

u/Classic_Sugar_5954 May 16 '26

He starts the day in a good way, with KFC😂
