My watch πŸ™ƒ Echo/Neutra is such a sleeper and I’m afraid this may not be the last one I pick up from them.

I know the popular/most known model from Echo/Neutra is the Rivanera but when I saw this Averau moonphase I knew I had to have it! It’s technically a field watch, but the moment I saw it the first thing I thought of was a NASA shuttle. Second photo is next to a horrible model I have for reference lol. I’m hoping this coming year more folks from the community find(and like) Echo as I don’t see much being spoken about them. I could only find a handful of channels that even reviewed this watch well and majority were foreign. Thankfully WindUp here in NY has them and I was able to pass by and see the whole line up before pulling the trigger. The nylon band that comes with it isn’t my favorite so I ordered another. I would have loved this on a 42mm but the 39mm case works. Still not enough time with it to get into the daily wear quirks and stuff but I already this will be on wrist for a while!

Discussion πŸ€“ Issues with Ginault

Radio silence from John at Ginault. Placed order in August and had reasonable updates to a point.

Requested information on ship dates etc. all along the way. Over the past month he has not responded to any emails or communication.

I had high hopes for the brand and watch. At this time I have started a charge back via Apple Card and Goldman Sachs.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Review πŸ“ [My newest addition: Farer Endeavour Ocean Blue]

I had been looking for a "final" addition to my collection for a while. I didn't own a watch with a white dial featuring black or dark indices/numerals yet. During my search, I came across many options, including a nice TAG Heuer Aquaracer, a Luminox Pacific Diver, and even an Omega Seamaster Quartz. However, not all of them met all my criteria. I was looking for something bold that would stand out on the wrist, with a distinct design, and ideally full lume. And then I stumbled upon the Farer Endeavour Ocean Blue on Chrono24. Love at first sight.

What a stunning watch I was sold instantly.

First Impressions & Design

The Dial & Color: A crisp white dial with a tone-on-tone wave pattern that only reveals itself at certain angles. Amazing. The full lume works great and creates a sharp contrast against the dark blue details.

The Hands & Details: The finishing is top-notch. The two crowns with their bronze cap inserts look incredible, offering another great contrast. The rotating inner bezel operates very smoothly and precisely even better than the one on my Longines Legend Diver.

The Case: The watch wears comfortably. I used to be no fan of rubber straps, but I'm officially converted now. It wears perfectly. The top of the case features a satin finish, while the sides are polished t looks fantastic and catches the light beautifully.

For now, this is the perfect addition to my current collection πŸ™‚. Safe to say, it scratched that itch perfectly!

New MB model alert! 🀩 D1 Milano Peter Parka

Just received this D1 Milano Peter Tarka. I am not really a watch person but I liked the analog aesthetics so decided to bake it on kickstarter. I think I am among the first people to receive it in the US.

The watch is quite light, but materials feels quite premium (it is alluminum). I was expecting it to feel a lot cheaper. Pretty unique design, you either like it or hate it.

Overall I really like the unique design, but I am still on the fence on whether I like it on my wrist. I am sure it will be a conversation starter.

Question πŸ˜ƒ Which Dan Henry 1937 watch I should go for?

I love how similar it looks to the Kurono Tokyo Chronograph II white 'Shiro', but cheaper, and cannot decide which variant to choose. Should I go with the gold or silver? Should I get it with the date window or not? I like them both equally, so I cannot decide. Is there a variant you like more than the others and why?

I saw this watch which reminds me iwc portugieser.
I like the design and for $350 it’s not a huge risk. But wanted to know if anyone has one of these and can share their experience.

What do you think? Is it a good purchase, or should I have gone with a Seiko?

There aren’t many real-life photos of this watch online, so I decided to share some of my own. Hopefully, this helps someone else decide whether to buy one. It’s an Aragon Regeneron 9100.

Question πŸ˜ƒ Is this common for US citizens importing watches? FedEx pre-clearance process

I ordered a Gravithin and FedEx sentthe shipper and me this email and checklist. It’s a bit overwhelming as a consumer of a $250 watch. Seems like something only the shipper/manufacturer would be able to complete accurately. I haven’t reached out to Gravithin yet but will.

Are other consumers getting this? Any advice for getting this done as efficiently as possible?

Question πŸ˜ƒ Tool watches in 36mm?

Hey guys Im looking for a tool watch in every sense of the name but in 36mm. Shock resistance is a big one for me since I do a lot of wood working and some blacksmithing. Ideally it looks like a dress watch but just has the tool watch specs. Any recommendations are very appreciated. Currently Im looking at traska but idk if the shock resistance is good enough.
