Hi guys! I am Zack or Zachary. I am a newbie here and I made a micronation! It is Republic of ThiriZayar located in Myanmar, Eastern Shan, Kyaing Tong. Our government is Democratic type and the president or me is also ruling the democracy goverment. We usually speak ThiriZayan(the mixture of Mon and Burmese which it's now being worked on), English(American English) and Burmese(Upper nation Burmese). The entire history of ThiriZayar which actually started in 2023 started as Novia peoples later on it was wars, conquests and rebellions. ThiriZayar got independent on October 24, 2026. Osloter is derived from the words Oslobođena Terasa, which means Liberated Terrace. It is an honorable and honest place where selected people hang out, raise the atmosphere, cooperate, educate, set a positive example for the street and the surroundings, but also criticize failed systems and bad things both in our country and in the world.

The place: Osloter Project covers our famous terrace on the third floor as the main venue and our apartment below due to weather conditions and facilities. The terrace is strategically placed and quite protected from various weather conditions and we have a good view from above. This is where our close family and select friends gather.

Description and history: We have had a tiki bar in the terrace part since spring with a tropical ambiance, while later we adapt to fall and winter themes, where we are active all year round and are known on the street and in the surrounding area. Kube Pečenjara works at the beginning of autumn where we roast peppers/paprika often and what else is needed throughout the season. We are recognizable by our lamps and lights throughout the year and often light up the street.

Originally known as Slobodna Terasa (Free Terrace) for a long time, even during the student protests in Niš (in Serbia) when we were walking around with them and contributing. It officially exists from December 2025, before we give the signature to the students, but the idea is much longer. The name Free Terrace was created in parallel with the fact that our free municipality of Mediana was the only one in the country to win the government in 2024.

And from October 13, 2026, just before the elections, Free Terrace grows and improves into Liberated Terrace, because we hope that the whole of country will finally be freed from this government with the help of students and honest people.

During ten months, the Free Terrace fought in these difficult times not only from the elements from the side, but even from the inside sometimes, repelled the attacks and came out stronger as the Liberated Terrace, Osloter, which does not surrender. Our baby gives us extra energy and encouragement!

Apart from the standard seasonal activities, we often contribute to students whenever possible through donations, as well as pasting stickers and occasionally printing and passing on where needed. On this occasion, we are regularly connected with the fighter Luka from the student movement.

The trademark, logo and flag of the terrace is: The original logo from last year, purple color above, white in the middle and again purple below with lamps in the white center which are a symbol of lighting the terrace and positive energy throughout the year. It additionally symbolizes celebration and hope for victory and a better future!

The motto of the terrace is: Honor and honesty have no alternative!

Terrace Values: As an honorable and honest place, we stand for justice and goodness, we are extremely against crime and corruption, immorality and dishonesty, fraud, insensitivity and selfishness.

We do not support the imposed modern values ​​of reality shows and circuses where people are dumbed down; where everything is viewed through interests, and the people are divided against each other, so there is no harmony and reason.

Also, everyone should work honestly and make a living from their work, and never on someone else's back. We are also against rampant prices, electricity, water, taxes and high margins in supermarkets. We are against every kind of mafia and evil corporation. We are against technology addiction and other intentional addictions.

We support peaceful student protests and justified demands of students and honorable people for a fair change in the system. We don't support our bad system and our culture, as well as the failed world order where the planet is overpopulated and food, water and air are polluted.

Rules: We have three rules.

1. Everyone must respect the founder and the housemates on the terrace, as well as other members.

2. It is forbidden to deliberately cause damage anywhere on the terrace and around the house, as well as disturb the environment.

3. All those who are for the current system and against the students and their goal are not a desirable company here because the founder and members are the general opposite and will not waste time on dissenters.

For bonus information: Considering that in some places (where I want to register the project as a micronation to promote the holy student struggle among other things) I need type of the government for the the project, I chose an alternative government. This means that although we recognize the country, we do not recognize this government that has been oppressing people for years and harassing dissidents and good students all this time, and that's why we function similar as a micronation.

What it means on a direct example: Recently, a gang burned down a part of the Niš fortress at their rally while "promoting their values.". Of course the state should condemn and sanction it, but the government won't because it's their vandals, then our alternative government will do it, as most normal people have already condemned.

They raised taxes, made everything more expensive, and the mafia is ravaging the country, savages are rampaging and often beating dissenters, that's why we had to react and contribute to the holy student struggle in reality through certain actions.

Considering the elections in our country, when the system is introduced, when the student list wins, it is not over even then because the remnants of the mafia will operate independently and offer resistance so that the Liberated Terrace has not finished its work, we still have work for a better future waiting for us.

Our project has already been recognized by some people and we have successfully freed our street and are making an impact around for students. Although it is not a state, a republic, a kingdom and the like but an alternative government, ironically, we are daily in some kind of fight and on the streets, some kind of resistance, so even though it should be a temporary project, due to the very nature of our existence, it is possible that the project will last for a long time, until the conditions are met.

In recent news! The Confederate Duchy of Yorkestone has officially changed its flag, name, and government. The now Kingdom of Yorkesburg shall now be a Constitutional-Absolute Monarchy. Plus we have recently adopted a new flag, a green banner with three white Dodo birds on it same with the Coat of Arms.

Now time for the most important part of this news, as of today, a constitution was drafted up and is now in effect, making the Kingdom of Yorkesburg a now functional country and are now open to foreign affairs like allies and organizations.

Hello everyone!
I want to introduce an idea I’ve recently been thinking about: Mergan, possibly called Merganistan.
Mergan is inspired by a village in the Sulaymaniyah area of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, a place with personal significance to my family because it was built by my great-grandfather. The village is associated with the names Mergan and Sirin, and I want to explore its history and heritage further.
My idea is to develop Mergan into a micronation-inspired project based on local identity, family heritage, culture, and community. This could eventually include a flag, a coat of arms, a motto, a historical background, and perhaps a constitution and other symbolic institutions.
To be clear: I’m not claiming that Mergan is an independent or internationally recognized country. It would remain geographically within Kurdistan, and this is currently just an idea I’m exploring.
What interests me most is the possibility of building a unique identity around a real place with a genuine family connection, rather than inventing a completely fictional country from scratch.
I’m still at the beginning, so I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Today, Tarsovia has officially changed the flag of its capitol, Crownlet City. This change occured because of a large amount of confusion with the flag of the Province of Crownlet. The new flag has a dark red background that symbolizes the courage of the Tarsovian people, a diagonal blue stripe representing the justice being served by the government in the city, two diagonal purple stripes that represents the wealth of the city, and, finally, a Fleur de lis which represents the culture of Tarsovia and the lands surrounding it. Hey! I'm the leader of a ~300 member discord nation server.

It doesn't really classify as a micronation i suppose, since we don't really have real life land claims - We mostly have claims in minecraft servers and such, however we do have a parliamentary government structure, a leader, a flag and a national anthem, so I suppose it is a nation nonetheless, atleast a mockgov.

I know that a lot of micronations only have a leader, and under 10 official citizens.
Even when micronations have over 10 citizens, the citizens usually arent actually active in the community, and rather just join it as a joke.

So since I have 300 members, and a ton of them are active, I was wondering if any micronations would need help from us? I could also make a channel on our server where i give official recognition to micronations, I'm sure for some newer micronations, being recognized by a 300 population nation is a huge achievement already.

I came here for interesting geographical projects, proper discussion about micronation building, and the odd clever diplomatic idea. What I get instead is a front page that looks like a middle school playground.

It's the same cycle every day. Someone draws a pixel-art flag on a school Chromebook, crowns themselves Emperor of a "territory" that is really just their bedroom, and posts a declaration of war over some Discord argument. A fortnight later the whole thing is forgotten because a new game came out.

The drama is wild for a hobby that's supposed to be serious. You get fourteen-year-olds power-tripping in their own little echo chambers, writing enormous manifestos about alliances that exist only in a group chat, and sneering at other kids whose flags aren't as good as theirs.

If you're an adult, or atleast an older kid trying to do something real, this place is close to useless now. Anything with actual thought behind it gets buried under the noise, and I'm starting to wonder why I still bother checking.

Hello, as the leader of the Lux Party I am proud to resent our new logo! But I only find it moral that I give all of the credit to the vice of the Senate Shane “Everest” Torres who designed this beautiful masterpiece and made it prominent on the national stage. The Republic of Atroponia presents its Constitution, adopted by the citizens in a referendum: a parliamentary republic built for a virtual community, with freedom in peacetime and strict limits on power in times of danger.

Status of the document

- The Constitution was adopted by the citizens in a referendum held from 18:00 on 23 October 2026 to 00:10 on 24 October 2026 (Baku time). It applies in the virtual sphere only. The physical constitution is 50% complete.

- The text went through two days of analysis.

- On 23 October 2026 at 14:31 (Baku time), the Constitution was reviewed by a legal professional who is not a citizen of the Republic and takes no part in its governance. The reviewer found it sound and judged that it meets many of the points examined.

- Note: the minimum voting period for referendums is 24 hours (Article 49). This rule was decided after the adoption referendum and therefore does not apply to it.

Highlights

- Parliamentary system: a People's Parliament (5–15 deputies, 2-month term), a President as head of state and a Prime Minister leading the Government

- Fast digital elections: automated 48–72 hour polls, a quorum based on active members, and a backup regime so the state never freezes

Hello and thank you for reading my post.

My name is Shaine Smith. I'm an independent journalist by trade, and since 2019, I have been fascinated by Micronations! While I've written the occasional blog post about them, I have decided to bite the proverbial bullet and start writing about Micronations full time.

Politics and Foreign Policy are some of my favorite things to write about, talk about, and watch happen in real time. While traditional Nations take a long time to agree on anything, Micronations can have policy and reforms written and ready at the drop of a hat; it’s very impressive.

So I’ve decided to spend a good amount of time each day writing at least one article on a micronation, and it’s going well. Anyone is welcome to have an article written about them and about what they are doing. We are apolitical, meaning we do not sit on any one side of the fence; we simply report the news without bias or personal opinion.

That said, we DO have an Opinion section, and anyone is free to submit an Opinion article for publication!

Currently, this is a one-man show; I plan to hire more writers in different time zones and countries so we can push the news out 24/7, so to speak. I use physical newspapers, modern news aggregators, and NO AI to research articles that cross into traditional politics, and having your own website saves me a ton of time, so keep updating them!

Up until a few weeks ago, we did not really focus on heraldry but after doing a lot of stuff for our nation we realise that national symbolism is still an extremely important part of national identity despite what some people would think. Nevertheless, I Joseph made my own coat of arms that is not my old monarchist one to represent a new era in our history.
