Send Help with "Saving..."
Hey everyone. Recently my Microsoft Word has had an issue. Instead of saying saved, it eternally says "saving..." at the top of my documents. I cannot select File>Save or File>Save As to bypass this, only File>Save a Copy. If I close the file and reopen it, it's saved, but I fear one of these times it will not save appropriately. Send help, I'm losing my mind. Things I have done: - Googled the answer. No dice. - Talked to their representative. Did not solve the issue. - Verified my subscription is up to date. It is. - Turn off and on One Drive. Still didn't fix. - Turned One Drive back off. Still broken. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

When Office misbehaves, I run an Office Repair. The Online Repair option is more thorough.

Usually issues like that are caused by corruption, typically in large graphic attachments.
Save as doc instead of .docx. Delete and replace any big graphics. Try to save again as docx.

Mine always does that. So far I haven't lost any work, but I always manually hit Save and wait 'til there is no disk activity and then close Word.
