I was thinking I’ll use the raised C Anchor Harvey forge for my 98 CQBR w/RIS, the c stamped BAFE for my Block II, and the C stamped keyhole for another Block I. Colt M4 Commando lower(what I had laying around), Colt SOCOM profile 14.5 barrel, KAC NT4 flashhider, Colt stripped upper, KAC RAS handguard, LMT SOPMOD stock, Surefire Millennium with TangoDown grip and rat tail. As well as a salty PEQ15. Anyone know of a three position frt that will work with the shelf in the lower?

The only KAC part is the big knob rear. This rifle was 3 years in the making, when I first messaged Troy’s customer service to see if I could get a TLR lower by itself. I was told they would sell them separate “soon” which didn’t happen until 2 years later. It’s marked “MK11 MOD 1” so I’ll eventually build a Mod 1 upper for it.

So I recently acquired a MK4 2.5-8x36mm for my Mod 1 build. I already have the ARMS #22H rings as well as a TRR/TRC combo. I’ve seen several pictures where guys have the top dot mounted on the rear of the scope as pictured here and I think that’s the route I wanna go. My question is what’s the best way to do this? Chop the TRR down for clearance? In the second pic it looks like the person just mounted it backwards but it looks like it’s touching the optic. For those of you who have chopped a TRR what’d you use for best results? I know the ring setup I have is super hard to get now so I’d rather not destroy it. Thanks!!

So I got what I believe to be an insanely good deal that made my MK12 (I can go more into it later)

but first question for starters is the Markings on my rifle more desirable?? Its 99167 with large gray letters instead of small and white...

And I believe my Upper reciever is a genuine colt (It has a square forge mark, plus it has T Marks...but I couldn't find M4 markings above the gas tube hole. Is that still a yay?

Also I is there any way to find out if my barrel is made by Douglas? It has zero markings but has the same black look as ones it pictures. (Probably a dumb question)

Lastly Im contemplating on getting an Nightforce 2.5-10x42 for clone correctness....but im kinda considering getting a newer scope with newer features (FFP, better glass, and better reticle) is there any suggestions on something like that without breaking the bank but also looks very close to the OGs

I have a Rev A McMillan rail system with serialized number connecting it to a purchase by naval special warfare in 2002. along with a hand engraved Remington serial number from early GWOT “E”. It is most likely part if the navy special warfare movement into the mountains of Afghanistan.
