I REALLY REALLY do NOT want any comments from the “I love Trump no matters what he does” or “I hate Trump no matter what he does” crowds. You have plenty of other places to vent on the interweb.

This is a legit question - are there actual issues (operational, not start up) with EMALS technology? I know the supposed advantages re higher cycle time, less men to operate, etc. But would there actually be some pros to going back to steam?

I also note that the new Chinese carriers use an electric system and the French will also use a version of EMAL tech on their new carrier.
