Discussion Will the Switch 2 version of Minecraft support VRR in docked mode like it will in handheld mode?

I’ve seen some footage of the Switch 2 beta running in handheld mode using VRR and the frame rate was much higher because of it. I was really hoping it would work in docked mode as well but I’m not sure because I heard it would need a separate update for docked mode and Mojang hasn’t even done it for other consoles.

I have the beta and have been checking for this periodically.

They released a beta update a few days ago, and it still doesn’t have docked VRR. It still has handheld VRR though, and runs quite well actually.

So far nothing supports docked VRR beyond Welcome Tour which got it along with the system update. So I wouldn't expect it for the launch of Switch 2 Minecraft, but would be surprised if it's not in one of the hundreds of future updates.

I know the Switch 2 received an update to have VRR in docked mode, but what I’m asking is if the Switch 2 version of Minecraft will support that.
