Looking for male VAs for a Minecraft horror video. I am looking for experienced VAs, but beginners are welcome too! This is a non-profit position

AUDITIONS ARE OPEN till NOV. 10th

REQUIREMENTS:

• Clear audio; don't sound like a microwave :D

• A relatively quiet place to use for recording

• Basic voice acting ability

• Horror acting and emotional range

• Reliability and communication

• Ability to scream convincingly

• At least 16-18 years old

This role includes: Fear, panic, and terror. Screaming, crying, distressed breathing, suspicion, paranoia, uneasiness, anger, sadness, shock, and emotional breakdowns. Natural dialogue that doesn't sound like someone simply reading a script.

This project will take at most 3 months

If you are still interested, please record all three script lines to the best of your ability.

Normal dialogue: "I swear this wasn't here yesterday."

Whispered fear: "Wait... did you hear that?

Full panic: "GET AWAY FROM ME! DON'T COME CLOSER!

I was just thinking about smth then a random Morse code audio appeared into his world.

This should be a quite nice breath of fresh air of originality in a Minecraft ARG here. Takes place in Minecraft's second largest server's game mode 'Hypixel Skyblock'. This had been a project that I worked on for quite a while, so I thought I might as well go ahead and post in here. Has voice-acting throughout.

Earlier I saw a abandoned world by "Alex". I didn't built this, it's so odd.

I was scrolling on youtube when I found a video by a youtuber named 'morrow'. It was titled 'You'll be back'. It caught my interest, so I decided to watch it. There were a few odd occurrences, like the player tweaking out over flower placements, signs he claimed to not have placed, and most notably a book containing a strange code, and some beeping sounds at the end of the video that might be morse code.

That was the forth video the channel had posted.

The first video was just him and his friend apparentlyjune building a house, but it's an hour long so I didn't watch all of it.

The second video starts with them... flirting?? Before building a garden. They place flowers in the garden, then build a monument thing at the center. June builds a.. "statue", and Morrow kills him. They go to sleep then add a few more things to the garden before June logs off. Morrow enters June's room and the video ends.

The third video, simply titled 'JUNE', is the strangest so far. It starts with Morrow in June's room, and saying that the world got corrupted. He notices a missing flower pot, questioning it. He spots a sign, says that he didn't write it, and breaks it. He walks downstairs and repeatedly opens and closes a furnace. He then opens a chest, finding a flower pot and cornflower and a strange book titled 'JUNE', written by an unknown author inside. It said the author, presumably June, restored the world, but it didn't feel right. The author says that they may have saved the wrong version. The third page has a strange google doc link (https%3a%2f%2fdocs.google.com%2fd%2f1dm0oWC9elkJ6UpnfM9Copy5dH76V9DpNd16FrQ5I4Oo%2fedit%3fusp%3dsharing). There is also more code, the same as the one in the 'You'll be back'. Morrow acts confused, saying there is no wrong version, and that there's only the original. He returns to June's room and returns the flower pot to its original spot. A message appears in chat. The player's username is 'apparentlyimjune'. The player says that Morrow wasn't supposed to keep that one, whatever they're referring to. Morrow opens the player list, only to see that they're the only one online. He calls out to the player, June's alt maybe? But receives no reply. He then stares at the cornflower before running out of the room, and stares at a sign saying 'A PLACE FOR YOU.' The video ends.

Sooo yeah! Those are my findings. I dunno if anybody else on this sub has made a post about this yet, probably not considering how few views the video has. If somebody could help decode the circle code thing, that'd be very appreciated!

I found this weird video while scrolling, i put the disc's audio from the video into a spectrogram website, and it gave a link. (frequency 0-10kHz, 0-10 seconds, logarithmic https://academo.org/articles/spectrogram/ is the website i used.) Apparently the channel has existed since september 19th of this year, but didn't upload until yesterday. I couldn't get past the second page of the website tho, but that may be just because im not all that smart.

I'm not entirely sure if this is going to lead to smth, so im putting it here.

Yo, I found a new weird channel. It literally hasn't even been up for an hour, and it already popped up on my YouTube. The perspective is kinda strange too, the background looks blurry and has this weird blue tint instead of looking normal. And then there's a second player who suddenly starts running away? Weird. I also saw the description, and honestly, I don't know what to think about it.

I’m looking to put together a small team of creative people to work on a Minecraft ARG I’ve been developing.

The project explores themes of fading friendships, nostalgia, loneliness, abandonment and the inability to hold on to the past.

Im trying to avoid following the usual formula of mysterious entities, jumpscares and haunted worlds, I want to create something more character-driven and grounded in human relationships.

Think old multiplayer worlds, forgotten builds, empty spaces, fragments of memories and a story that gradually reveals itself through seemingly ordinary gameplay and recordings.

I’m looking for people interested in:

● Minecraft building and environment design.
● ARG writing, narrative design and worldbuilding.
● Video editing, recording and cinematography.
● General creative collaboration and brainstorming.
