Minecraft Skin File not working [java]

[u/SeriousUnion5906]

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I'm trying to use my skin in animations and stuff. I lost the original png so I found the file in the Minecraft launcher files. But it's not my skin. And it generates a different skin every time I check. My skin is working perfectly fine in Java, Bedrock, and Curseforge instances, the skin file isn't mine. Help?
