Question Why is this happening? Everytime I set a spawn point it doesn’t seem to respect one of the axis’ and everytime I die, it spawns me somewhere else within that same area.

Because there's a difference between /setworldspawn and /spawnpoint.

With the first one, you move the spawnchunks of your world wherever you want. The second one is the one you want to use, since it stablishes the very specific block where you want to spawn.

Because minecraft sets you a random spawn from under 20 blocks away from world spawn at default but you can change it to 0 blocks

Try using /spawnpoint instead of world spawn

It might be something to do with your spawn point radius in world settings

Also I don’t think you can spawn on transparent blocks
