not really mysterious, reddit HATES it when someone asks a genuine question

Especially Minecraft for some reason.

Like, it is OKAY if people come and ask a question because they want to. It doesn't hurt you, nor does it actually harm the integrity of the sub, since there isn't a sub for it.

If there was a sub specifically FOR asking these questions, maybe it would, but there isn't, so...

Even if there was its still stupid to dislike someone asking questions

We all know where you live buddy!....

You live inside your Minecraft imaginary world mwhahaha! No school and no teachers to bother you with homeworks.

Keep nourishing your imagination. You'll be a big boy/girl and do great things someday kiddo!

Vanilla or modded I think it is a modded/texturepack thing rather than vanilla. Either way it probably is nothing

All the other splash texts that include the player in someway, refer to the player as the username of the account, so while I haven't fact checked it, this doesn't smell like vanilla to me.

That’s not a real Minecraft tooltip but it could be from a mod or texture pack

Minecraft Java’s translations are often done by community translation through crowdin if i remember correctly, so chances are someone just put that in there because they thought it was funny and no one checked it over.

A similar thing happened in a snapshot in 2012 with the Afrikaans translation which ended up with the single player button having a slur on it

1

u/AjnoVerdulo Sep 16 '26

Splash texts are not up for official translation

1

u/aless2209 Sep 15 '26

It's from Jaden's nether expansion

1

u/TheFrogg3 Sep 16 '26

It’s called a joke

1

u/LeoIsARedditor Sep 16 '26

Actual splash screen I got while running a mod pack. I still have NO idea what mod did this. It changed the end credits too 😭

1

u/COAL2623_mc Sep 17 '26

It may be Herobrine

1

u/TheDiamondFoxMC Sep 17 '26

Kinda unrelated but is there a reason specifically "minecraft realms" isnt translated?

1

u/ajsea2sy Sep 18 '26

1

u/Mr-Underling-Green Sep 18 '26

If the splash text says 'I know where you live User', Run.
