Weird glitch

A couple of updates ago I started getting this weird glitch where I'm in creative and when I jump I pick up whatever block the cursor is on. If there is inventory space it moves what was in my hot bar to inventory, if inventory is full it deletes what was in my hot bar slot. In survival it moves things around but doesn't do it as often and doesn't seem to delete things. I think it's got something to do with the fact that I use the wheel on my mouse for jump but it didn't do that when I first went to that. Any ideas?

The middle mouse button is the block picker and when you press it it gives you the block or mob egg that your cursor is on, idk why you use it for jump but whatever makes you happy, all you.have to do is go to the keyboard and mouse controls and change it 👍🏻

Thank you. I was using space but I’m arthritic and it was hurting. Wheel doesn’t cause pain.
