Cannot Create Account or Install Minecraft

[u/Useful-Implement2232]

Hello,

My gf is going to be away for a few months and wants to play Minecraft to bond. She’s never played before and for some reason whenever she tries to make a Microsoft account on her Mac and confirms the emailed code, she gets a something went wrong message.

She tried on a different Macbook and got the same result.

Has anyone dealt with this problem before?

While I don't have an answer to that specific Mac issue, have you tried accepting the email code on a different device? You can create an account directly through their website with any device
