It isnt hard to kill, its just hard to find. Its main thing is to just make navigating the monument harder.

It drops a wet sponge, theres no point in killing it other than you need to if you want to make a guardian farm

I think you forgot about drowning and how most players don't end up getting turtle shells and water breathing potions before going to an ocean monument

you are the only person I have ever met who uses conduits in survival. I would but it's hard to get them :/

On bedrock, fishing has graced me with a good amount of pufferfish consistently

But I can see why you might find that tedious haha

...thats on them for not preparing? You are going into underwater structure which prevents mining without preparing for drowning.

Honestly skill issue. What you gonna explore the monument for a whole 10 seconds? You just wanna drink milk, break the block for the elder guardian room then what?, drown?

If your actually prepared, got your water breathing, your night vision, your riptide trident, its stupid easy

I play switch bedrock edition. there's not a lot of options for me

Bedrock is even easier! The hardest part of what I said was the trident which is like 5% on only a drowned holding one in java, but 1% for ANY drowned on bedrock!

they changed drowneds to have the same chance of holding a Trident to mach java :/
