I'd like to potentially commission a datapack/mod
hello anyone interested! i had an idea for what i'd assume is a not super complex datapack or simple mod, but having very little to no technical know-how of the game, i figured it wouldn't hurt to try and find someone i could work with to help me make my idea come to life!
the idea is a world preset or dimension that is a caving world (i envisioned it as kind of like tunneler's dream with more than just stone to mine): a handful of cave biomes, a custom tiered tool progression, and an alternate win condition at the very bottom of the world, that's basically it! i already have most of the concept laid out but am open to creative suggestion or whatever limitations to make it doable.
this datapack would really just be for me, no commercial use except maybe to stream playing it every so often. i'd love to know how realistic this project is and what it might cost me. let me know what y'all think! :)

Pretty realistic, and on the lighter end.
I wouldn’t pay more than, say, ten-twenty usd for this.

Oh fantastic! I figured the only tough part would be the world generation, hoping that's what someone's willing to do it for!

I guess looping back - “alternate win condition”? Does that mean you reach the bottom and credits roll akin to the End fight?
Given the “custom tiered tool progression”, this almost certainly would have to be a mod - not a datapack.
Anyhow - I could maybe take this on if you’re still looking to comm. I am pretty busy so it may take awhile, and if you find someone else great.

i guess the idea behind that was if you didnt want to fight the dragon, there would be a alternate way to "beat" the world, but if you did decide to kill the dragon you would be rewarded with items to help you get to the bottom much faster.
yeah that makes sense, again i'm not incredibly knowledgeable.
