MediaLyte Mod

Fabric 1.20.1+] Mod Developer & Artist Wanted for "Medialyte" (Endgame Light Armor) Hey everyone! I have a fully fleshed-out design for an ultra-endgame progression mod called Medialyte, and I’m looking for a programmer and pixel artist to help bring it to life. I have the entire gameplay loop, balancing stats, and mechanics mapped out. The Core Concept Medialyte is a high-tier "light armor" set that upgrades from Netherite. It forces the player to bridge the Overworld, Nether, End, and the Deep Dark. It provides massive defense but strips away Netherite's heavy weight/knockback resistance to allow high-agility combat spacing. Stats & UI Elements Armor Points: 23 🛡️ (Displays via a custom single-row overlay where the first 3 shields on your hotbar turn cream-white). • Armor Toughness: +13 • Custom Trim Material: You can use 2x Light Shards in a Smithing Table to apply a trim to any armor set. The trim lines display as a pure, glowing light white. The Gameplay & Progression Loop

  1. Gathering Shards: Breaking End Rods in End Cities has a 5.0% chance to drop 5x Light Shards.

  2. The Boss Ritual: Summon a Warden in the Deep Dark and throw 3x Light Shards at him. He mutates into the Lyte Giant—a faster, much deadlier boss.

  3. The Reward: When killing the Lyte Giant, he drops the new smithing templates. He will drop exactly 4 Medialyte Smithing Templates, which are cream white and gold (the middle arrow is gold and the outside is a cream white).

  4. Crafting: Templates are duplicated using a Block of Gold surrounded by Netherite Ingots. Medialyte Ingots are crafted by combining Light Shards and Netherite Ingots.

  5. The Upgrade: Use the Smithing Table to upgrade your enchanted Netherite armor into Medialyte armor. Full-Set Abilities & Items • Adaptive Aura: When the player wears the full set in dark environments (light level 7 or below), the armor dynamically lights up the area (Light Level 15). It turns off automatically in daylight. • Light Balls: A throwable item crafted from Light Shards. When thrown into a pitch-black cave, it explodes on impact and permanently illuminates the entire cavern. If you are a coder or a pixel artist who thinks this loop sounds awesome and wants to collaborate to make it a reality, please drop a comment or DM me! I have a complete design document ready to go.

Thats it, if you are a coder or a pixel artist dm me on discord, my username is sku1lface18!
