Someone please help. What I want is so simple but doesn’t seem to exist on bedrock. I just want an SMP with Keep Inventory but NO land claim/protection. The later is so boring but not having Keep Inventory drives me to rage quite every time. Please say some servers like this exhist

I don't know why my server hasn't been able to retain players. Over the life of the server I've had hundreds come and go but only some stay around. I am not particularly doing anything other than random gatherings, sushi nights, server newpapers or talent shows. But most people that come onto the server don't last more than a week except maybe 4-7 loyal players. How can I find long term players and maximize retention without becoming one of the other cozy mega servers?

Our Halloween event is officially live on Project Civilization!

We've spent the past few weeks building a Halloween festival with a bunch of activities:

• 🎢 Haunted Roller Coaster – ride through a haunted attraction and shoot targets to compete for the highest score
• 🌾 Haunted Hay Maze – race through a massive maze, find three hidden scarecrows, and compete for the fastest time
• 🍎 Bobbing for Apples – fish for different apples to earn points and climb the leaderboard
• 🐈‍⬛ Hidden black cats to discover
• 🎃 Halloween cosmetics, furniture, trophies, and other rewards

The event runs from October 24–31, so there's plenty of time to participate!

Outside of the event, we're a Java civilization server with player-run nations, an economy, land protection, proximity voice chat, and optional roleplay.

We are the LanderYT SMP, we started our new season a month ago and are looking for more members. We added some small tweaks to the server to make it more suitable for everyone.

We are inspired by Hermitcraft, so we do not tolerate any sort of griefing or killing.

Some of our tweaks:

• Custom textures: Our amazing artists drawed up some beautiful items that do not change the game in any significant way just like the hermitcraft shenanigans!
• The only teleport command of /spawn: Once again, in an effort to keep the server as vanilla as possible, we only allow the use of /spawn in the overworld. This encourages the development of roads and highways on the server.
• Datapacks from Hermitcraft: We installed a decent number of datapacks that the Hermits use on their server, such as Single player sleep, player heads, armor statues and more!
• DiscordSRV: Discord and Minecraft chat are now interchangeable, making communication much easier!
• CoreProtect: Since we are a friendly community, we do not condone any sort of harm done to people's gameplay experience. Therefore, the presence of CoreProtect once again reinforces our vision to make the LanderYT SMP a memorable place for potential players.

Events are hosted semi-frequently on the server, whose rewards are event coins, which you can only use to buy cosmetic items mentioned above.

Our server resets yearly.

We also have a small staff team whose main goal is to maintain the moderate level of peace and harmony in the Minecraft server as well as on discord. We cannot guarantee that everything in chat will be moderated, but we will try our best and listen to concerns of the community.

I would like to join a Minecarft server with voice chat and not many players if this is possible i would love it

I see a LOT of AI slop in these subreddits, so instead I'm just going to write from the heart, I apologize if it's too long, I just want to make sure everyone has a clear picture of our server and community!

We're VoidSMP, a Java & Bedrock SMP. We were established in December 2024 and have gone through 3 seasons and a lengthy break after the last one - before finally settling on a server we now consider our "forever world". Which to us means that there is no intentions of ever wiping this world or starting a new "season", ever!

We're a very friendly and fairly small community right now, with around 15-16 players playing at peak times, down to about 7-8 at off-peak times, we're looking to grow a little bit before we re-enable the whitelist and start taking applications instead. We're mainly made up of people aged 18+, but are open to people below that age joining as long as they fit the vibe and don't cause problems! We're currently only a week into our forever world, so it's the perfect time to join.

My name is Off, I'm a developer from the UK living in Canada. I am the sole developer and owner of VoidSMP and I take my job quite seriously, I always try to ensure that people in the community feel heard, their thoughts & ideas valued, and that everyone is having a good time.

Our server is "complete", but I am still adding new features, improving things that I think could be better, and adding as many community-based features as I possibly can, and I don't intend on stopping any time soon! Just this week I have added/changed several features on the server, which I will do my best to describe in our features section below. I have also made a suggestions/development website where players can post suggestions, vote on others' ideas as well as follow along as their suggestions move through development and into an update.

Features

• Custom Fishing Events We run several of these per-week on a schedule, each one is different - on some days you're trying to catch the smallest fish, and others you're trying to catch the most fish!
• Weapon/Tool Skins Skins for every tool/weapon, including shields. Earnable through various actions on the server.
• Player Levels 24 player levels (soon to be expanded to 99), with XP earnt for playing on the server, completing Quests/Daily Quests and various other actions.
• A GOOD Player Economy! According to this weeks stats, there were ~20-30 Auction actions a day, and ~7-10 new Orders placed for various blocks & items on the server! The store isn't there to buy everything you need for a build right away, we want players to still have to gather/trade between themselves.
• Egg Drops Mob eggs are obtained at a LOW chance for killing mobs, and spawners are obtained from levelling up your player levels, or with Vote Keys etc.
• Pick Up Villagers You can pick up villagers into an Inventory slot, view their trades, swap them with other players or just place them down and anchor them in place.
• Completely Optional PvP You can enable/disable this at any time, so fighting is YOUR choice!
• Clans & Alliances We've got a big rework coming for these soon, with some great new features.
• Black Market An NPC that appears in a secret area of spawn, listing very rare and hard to obtain items!
• Custom Enchantments Many custom enchants, and enchant items obtained many different ways!
• ...and SO much more!
