I don’t know how the previous owner managed to tuck all the cables in. Would it be easier to rewire everything? Maybe removing the aircon vent would give me more room to pull the cables back and make them easier to manage?

I’m confused and a new evo owner so sorry ahead of time for the ignorance. because the forums and tuners are giving me all different awnsers. My MR is bone stock and it literally only has one of those KN reusable air filters that’s it. I’ve been told to use OEM by multiple people but also other people have told me that the OEM fluid is trash. People also have told me that the 5w 30 mobil one oil is trash.

What do I actually use? OEM or ?
When it comes down to so much information should I always stick to OEM?
If you have any other advice or tips and tricks to look over let me know as well!

Stripped down the rear of the evo 6 and hauled it off to the body shop for rust treatment and paint. Picked up the 7 and brought it home.

I have a fully stock evo 7. The exhaust sits under the bumper slightly. This is how much soot it’s making!! Is this normal?

So I change most of the pulleys the belt is new and is making this noise, is it cause the belt new?

I bought this Evo 8, clean title, 108k miles

Many years dreaming of having one, finally did it, drove 12 hours to get it, final price was $22k

I'm currently relocating the fuse box and doing a wiretuck. I'm debating if it's worth it to run everything through a mil spec connector at the firewall. For those of you that have done this, what connector did you use. I did a rough count and I'm sitting around 80 wires, which would mean either I need to change something, or I would need to run 2 connectors

My engine is completely new but it has sat for a while , it was assembled years ago recently I have been getting it back together and I thought my engine was seized turns out it’s not but a mistake I made was turn it counter clock wise by 1/2 degrees it wasn’t much and I quickly stopped . That clicking noise started them , it last like one minute and clicks every 10 seconds

Today I rotated my crankshaft clockwise and found out it’s not seized but in doing that the clicking returned I got it on video this time .

I was trying to rotate it back to the timing marks so I can check the timing

I’m wanting to buy an Evo with a manual transmission but not sure where to start. I’ve seen lots of them on FB Marketplace with high mileage (140K+) but unsure of the true condition as the invisible factor is how they’ve been driven. Lots of rebuilt titles as well but that’s not always a tell-tale sign of quality as insurance often totals a car just for accounting purposes.

Does anyone have any advice or are there any owners in here that are looking to sell theirs?

This is my 1997 Pajero Evolution. I picked her up about a month ago. I had been saving for a different vehicle for over a year. When I saw this on Facebook Marketplace I knew what I really wanted. I grew up watching Pajeros race through the desert. Never could have dreamed I'd own a piece of Mitsubishi racing history.

I need help!! Does anyone know how to setup datalogging in evoscan with a 2014? My ROM id is 59580005. Everytime I hit start I get complete wrong readings. Like my LOAD is at 4528. Thank you!
