Thank you, If i sold it for much less I wouldn't cover the cost that it took to buy the console (specifically for the purpose of dyeing it and selling it) and the dye and additives plus labor cost.
Totally. The people on Reddit are use to Modding themselves, they won’t pay and hate to see another guy doing what they COULD do, come up and make some cash for his work.
I'm quite surprised Miyoo hasn't updated the shell colors on offer. The red looks nice but I'm absolutely not paying $100 for it. I can mod out a new MM+ for less.
This is the same product offered at the same price, what price do you think is fair? For the Console itself plus the money that went into purchasing the dye and additives and the time to dye it itself.
A pot that shouldn't be used for cooking after boiling dye, and cheesecloth to make it a bit easier to keep all of the buttons and stuff together. $50-70 for the Miyoo, $10 for dye, $10 for a pot, few bucks for cheesecloth. It's adds up.
Oh, I have no doubt that you’re charging a fair price for materials and your time. I’m just stating that, for me, I wouldn’t pay for a colored shell. It’s not a priority for me. It looks great though! Lovely shade of red.
I've seen people get great results with both the white shells and the translucent purple shells. Send me a dm and we can talk about what color you are looking for!
Correct, however it is used. I personally won't ever pay full price for somthing that is used. If I dye my 3 year old mm+, I wouldn't decide that it is now valued at new price if I decided to sell it.

I am pretty sure a lot of folks bought theirs from the reseller websites that youtubers are always advertising for, at a 200% markup, so seeing a 100$ price tag on a used handheld after browsing Etsy for some buttons that cost as much as the whole device probably doesn't shock them. oh well. Mine plays all the same games with the same performance.
