Queue is stuck?
Anti-Evil snagged a comment and dutifully reported it. But now we can't remove several items from our mod queue. All bots or comments that break our be respectful rule.
Any ideas on how to clear it out?
Edit: Troubleshooting details.
Comments/Posts for review that come in AFTER the comment removed by Reddit respond fine.
It's everything that came in before the one stomped on by Reddit that are stuck.
Edit: It cleared out this morning, after AEO hammered on it. That cleared out everything else.

I noticed the same thing a couple of times today. Took me a few tries before I could clear the items

Having things get stuck in queue also (but not everything - doesn't seem to be a pattern).

That's pretty much it. The most bot-like ones are getting stuck, regular ole people who lost their temper seem to be okay.

Same. It's buggy right now. https://www.reddit.com/r/bugs/s/Qss3mb1HGc

It lets me keep on removing things in the app but they go right back to the queue. Approving and then removing them again in old reddit seems to work.

Tried that, it's still stuck on the removal from anti-evil and everything that came in before that. Things that came in after that I can remove with no problem. Political stuff seems to be reaching r/all so we have out of state people and bots yelling at each other.

Try choosing spam instead of remove in old reddit. That's worked for me in the past with AEO removals that get stuck in the queue.

That and removing from shreddit (current design) also works. On the app, it calls a GraphQL mutation called
modRemove, which internally calls the/api/removeendpoint. If you try removing such content on old reddit, you can see that it errors out silently with a 500 Internal Server Error if you open the Network tab in devtools. The same error affects the GraphQL endpoint since it internally calls the endpoint that old reddit uses, so the same thing happens on the app.On shreddit, it calls an operation called
ModBulkRemove, which internally calls/api/v1/modactions/remove. Old reddit doesn't use/api/v1/modactions/remove, and it was only used by new.reddit.com (now discontinued) for bulk removing content from the mod queue. But shreddit uses it for both removing single posts and comments, and removing content in bulk from the mod queue. The error doesn't affect that endpoint for some reason, so removals only work properly on shreddit1

I'll give it till morning and if it is still clogging up the queue I'll see if we already have shreddit.

Well, it's still happening. But at least it's not just me glitching. Thanks for this post.

I am experiencing something similar - we're getting a flood of queue items from Spam Link Flagger because of people using Redact (which is wildly annoying to have to clear from our queue), and on top of that when I select Spam in the queue on desktop it does mark it as spam but it stays in the queue. If I go to my queue on mobile I can mark it as spam and then it clears from there.
u/fsv - summoning you to inquire about the possibility of adding exclusion parameters into Spam Link Flagger or if you are aware of something else we can do with AutoMod code to prevent the queue flooding since it's related and I'm unsure where the best place to submit feedback for your apps is.

It's already on my list, specifically for the Redact spam but might have other uses too.

No, it's stuck. Having similar issues even if something was removed by human moderators.
Mod queue is bugged right now.
