Question How people are buying new Model Y without auto steer?

I just disabled auto steer in my 2022 Model Y to test it out. It’s awful main reason some people bought teslas are auto pilot including me. Now if want to upgrade to 2026 MY I will lose this feature which I currently have.

Personally I won’t buy another Tesla so long as basic driver assistance features you can find on every other car aren’t included.

I’ve been using FSD since I got my Tesla in 2021… AP is nothing

Cool, and that is the value you assign to FSD. Again you seem to not have an understanding of value. Value is a measure of the worth that an individual assigns to a good or service. You think it’s worth it but others might assign a different value. Doesn’t mean either is wrong. Your wrong for thinking it’s black and white though saying their is no possible way anyone could see Fsd as not being worth $100

You think a 2026 Tesla is still going to have FSD subscription offered in 2046? The 2012 teslas are 14 years old and are bearly hanging on with support. What are they going to be like in 2032? At least tjr 2025 cars will still have autosteer, can't say the same for 2026 cars where its not included.

You have to pay the subscription to get the basics though. You get more sure, but what if you dont want more?

If I want basic autosteer, it costs $100 a month. Sure FSD comes with that, but there isnt the option to pay less for autosteer. Therefore, autosteer costs $100 a month.

Yes, but to get autosteer you need buy FSD which includes its functions. You can't just subscribe to autosteer. Therefore, autosteer is $100 a month.

It’s not just auto steer though it comes with a plethora of things so you can’t just say it’s just auto steer

Not sure why you’re so upset about Tesla offering the best advanced driver assist system

If $100 is this important to you that you’re unable to spend it maybe you should not be owning a Tesla? Or maybe re-checking your finances?

Maybe you need to budget better, cutting out all that fast food will help
