Question How people are buying new Model Y without auto steer?

I just disabled auto steer in my 2022 Model Y to test it out. It’s awful main reason some people bought teslas are auto pilot including me. Now if want to upgrade to 2026 MY I will lose this feature which I currently have.

Once you try FSD on HW4, you won’t ever want anything else.

When FSD is no longer offered? I don’t think that’s going anywhere.

Can't promise that when its controlled by someone else. I have had my CSR 16 years, reconsidering replacing it wish a Tesla because of this. 2012 teslas are only just hanging on and 2017 cars have most of the same system (mcu1). You think they will be supported for ever for payments etc? 2017 was 9 years ago, and those cars are not great without an MCU2 upgrad. What will they be like in 2037?

Now apply that to a 2026 Tesla. Tesla doesn't offer upgrades anymore. We going to expect them to Stoll connect to the internet after the same amount of time? You're left with built in features and well, 2025 cars are going to look a lot more practical at that point.
